Yeah they would need to scramble for a FG if they catch it in bounds also.  Their only chance is getting 15 yards PLUS getting out of bounds.

Cause he knew he Elliot likely would miss and would rather have the tie. Doesn’t change the fact it’s a coward move. Metcalf Desean’ed that, but he’s emerging as the most dangerous WR in the NfL.

Sometimes a team has a bad start but you can tell they have enough that if they can weather the storm they can be pretty good.  This isn't one of those teams.  If the stars align they might climb back to say 7-9 but they are more likely to win 5 than 7.

As for Wentz, he isn't playing well but the team's troubles go much much deeper than Wentz.

Or he means thank Wentz for all the scrambling to result in the TD to tie it up. If it wasnt for that, these recs sucked, no one was getting open, the line esp Peters was getting destroyed. Wentz saved us from a loss with his legs.

You can criticize his play calling before the penalty, I'm with everyone there. But it only made sense to punt. The difference between 0-2-1 and 0-3 is bigger than people realize.
