I’m as pro-pass as anyone here, but why the hell didn’t we just pound the Bengals with the run?

Yeah I mean who knows. We have a QB who is clearly struggling out there and yet they drop him back 47 times?

It’s hard to reinvent the wheel that way.

Eagles will draft a LT top 10 this year, thus writing off their first round pick from last year, who is a LT with zero position versatility.

Hard to get excited about that.

End of the game and end of the half situations skew it a bit, but it seemed like we ran the ball effectively today.

Joe Burrow in a years time would win that game easily. He looked a bit overloaded by the end of the 4th quarter

With a better offensive line they probably come out with a W today. That was the only saving grace for the Eagles.

I think you're probably right. But they've got to start rebuilding with premium talent.

I think we did yeah. Sanders did a really really nice job today. He's a legit stud.

Yea, positive plays come off punts with 18 seconds left in the game all the time

Typical Doug response..."analytics", "metrics"...blah...blah...blah...

Just go with your Fing head and your heart!

Stop overanalyzing everything and making things more complicated than they should be.

I came into this game asking for more accountability from Carson Wentz.

I come out of this game thinking no differently of Carson Wentz. He's the same erratic player he was coming into the game. But I did come out of this game thinking differently about Doug Pederson. The decision to play for a tie was a fireable offense, and I am not exaggerating.

Anyone else think Doug should be fired before next week?

Peters was just awful today; I thought he played poorly last season and didn’t want him back at all.  I’d cut him loose tomorrow with or without an injury settlement

JJAW is finished.  If there was ever a game he could do something it was today.  He’s behind Hightower, Burnett, and Jeffery on the depth chart now

Gerry looked worse than a high school player on the TD by Higgins.  All he needs to do is turn around and that’s an easy INT.  He is such a liability out there.  Mills would have had an INT instead of a PI if he had any sense as well, then misses his assignment on the very next play to give up a TD.  Too many bad players on this team, and three straight games now with no takeaways on defense.

Hightower looks like he could become something.  I’m glad he was getting targets on that last drive in regulation.

Ward keeps climbing the depth chart.  He and Ertz are the only reliable targets with Goedert going down.  We will see how long Jackson and Reagor are out.

The game should have been won with that touch throw to Ertz.  Losing teams go backwards when they’re in scoring position to win — the Eagles went backwards 3 times with the Johnson, Herbig, and Pryor penalties.

So what would happen in the off-season should this team win only 4 games or less?  Does Lurie make any changes?  Does Howie get the sack or just shifted into a position where he'd more like Banner?  Does Doug get the sack or is he made to forgo this multi O coaching staff without an actual OC and has to hire an OC?  Do they renew Gym Shortz's contract or let him go?

There's so many moving parts here that just aren't working together right now.  Howie has drafted poorly, has brought in some aging players on albatross type contracts and has thrown away mid round picks on short term rental players and/or players who just don't really fit into our schemes.  Doug has lost something since Reich and DeFilippo left.  The O has seemed out of sorts since the SB season.  The D side hasn't really changed and is still doing the same things wrong that have been problems in the past which is anathema to success when you haven't brought in the personnel that really compliments the scheme (OK, Slay is good, but other than him who else is really looking the part?) and they have been incapable of generating TOs since the SB season.

And our franchise QB looks like a lost JAG at the moment.  Which is the real Carson Wentz?  The guy from his first 2 seasons, the guy from his 2 seasons coming off a major injury or the guy who has played the first 3 games of this season so far?

So much is so wrong right now.  Where do you start?

I'm kind of watching the Seahawks and Cowyboy game. So much energy from both teams on O.  The Eagles look stuck in 1st gear by comparison

Yeah he probably knew it was a fluke.

I pray that you're wrong and they give Dillard one more chance.  If this continues and they are in a potential top 5 pick, they will be in prime position for a dynamic playmaker on either side of the ball, something they sorely lack.  I mean can we get someone on defense to force a turnover?  A playmaker on offense?

Maybe if Wentz didn’t play like Kevin Kolb we’re not in OT.

Maybe if the D could get one f'ing turnover, we're not in OT.

Ward stands out so much as he is the only reliable WR the Eagles have. No pitch counts, no rest days or series sat on the bench.  He's out there doing what is asked of him.

Who do you guys pin this one on? I thought it was pretty gutless to punt with 19 secs left.

He averaged 5.3 ypc today

They need to answer for why JJAW is on the roster.  They have plucked innumerable people off the street who get targets in critical situations over him.

That's the truest definition of a waste of a roster spot.  I get it why they don't use him.  Watching him run a route is like listening to nails on a chalkboard.  But you can't just waste, not only a roster spot, but also an active player...every week.  Just.  cut.  the.  guy.  now.

Hmm... Wentz for me is the biggest culprit. If he even just plays competent football against that Bungles D then the Eagles win. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of blame to go around but I think Wentz for me.

So he had himself a really nice day.

without wentz he doesn't see the playoffs in 2017 so give me a break on foles

That team was awesome.  Carson was just along for the ride.  If he never got hurt, we never would have our SB.

OTOH that team would have won if Foles played all year.

you guys think dillard is going to work his a** off for next season and come in shape and bulked up or is he playing xbox and eating oreo's?

Everything about dougs offense is trash, he has failed to help the receivers get open, he’s failed to help wentz develop and he’s just failed at having any kind of productive offense in the nfl, wentz has not been good but I put all of that on Doug, Fire Doug and bring in someone that knows that the hell they are doing
