That took 3 DST TDs.

How many players will be hurt by the time we play that game?

Any chance the concussion did some kind of permanent damage?

Theres certainly no way theyre trading or benching anyone being a half game back with 13 weeks to go, so you can just forget that

But I think the current offensive coaching dynamic is a total failure so far and they have to make changes

People saying Drew Brees is cooked with a 93.5 qb rating on the year.  What does that make Wentz?

I've only hard complaints about his deep ball

Step one fire Howie, step 2 force Doug to get a real o coord and let that guy call plays, step 3 tank

they seem to be able to develop them. For instance, Gallup was an ok prospect. Never shoulda been this good this fast though. Theyve had a bunch of guys in the past play over their heads. How about Cole Beasley. Thorn in our side. Been noting since leaving. Terrence Williams stunk in reality but they made him a dangerous deep threat while he was there. Go back years to Miles Austin and how back he sucked as soon as he left for Philly.

Beasley had the second best season of his career last year and is off to a pretty good start this year...

oh ok my B. Dallas can still develop WRs. Point stands.

I know people want to fire Howie (I get it). However, if Wentz is average. Not bad, average, we're 2-1 and 1st in the division.

I didn’t post at all during the game, but this one made me LOL. Shoot Gerry to the moon please.

Someone mentioned it earlier.  The only way Howie is gone is if Lurie sells the team.  He seems to be his guy no matter what.

We probably shouldn’t need him to be even average to beat Washington and Cincy. They’re bottom five teams.

I assume you mean Wentz.  That's actually a great question.

The short answer is that it's very unlikely.  Concussions from mild impacts (in the grand scheme of things, that was mild) are very common...and complete recovery is very reliable.

But if he were to develop a post-concussion syndrome, sure, anything is possible.  People with post-concussion syndrome often struggle with returning to work and performing their typical job responsibilities.  They most commonly describe a fog, low energy levels, difficulty handling stress, and difficulty making quick calculations/decisions.

It's not that common and it may be a convenient excuse, but the shoe doesn't fit all that poorly.  Wentz is playing, by far, at a worse level than he ever did as a rookie.  He misses things all over the field, tenses up for gimme throws, and struggles to make reads.  It's not impossible that he has lingering issues.

This happens all the time. He's just running around out there and has no idea what is going on.

Any early word on our injuries? Maddox, Goedert, Jackson, Peters?
To depressed to look.

So I can chalk that up to total WIP broadcast homerism then.

He’s probably credited with a sack but he kind of whiffed on Burrow who tripped over himself. I also remembering it looked like he was out of position on a few plays. I don’t really remember him doing anything good.

If Wentz is average then they are paying $128 million for average.  No thank you.  I get your point though.  I'm honestly glad he isn't average because it's exposing all the problems with this team.  You can mask a bad defense with ball control offense.  We have a terrible defense.  A good quarterback can make plays when needed, despite poor play calling.  That's not happening either.

The Eagles are showing us who a lot of us knew they were.  A team lacking serious young talent.  A team with aging, declining veterans and a team that has had terrible drafts lately.

Sadly...we are right there with them.

Goedert is expected to miss some time, I believe.

It makes no sense to me.  You would think a college safety would transition to be a good coverage linebacker.

Meanwhile LJ Fort couldn't get on the field here.

Jackson is hamstring. It’s probably toast.

Goedert is rumored high ankle sprain but will miss some time.

Peters probably had a stiff breeze knock him over from getting dusted all game.

Maddox is an ankle. He ran on the sideline to see if he can come back in but couldn’t go.

Jackson has a hamstring. He's probably out for awhile. I think Maddox and Goedert both have ankle injuries

Peters is either ankle or knee. Probably out for awhile as well
