Asked about a self evaluation- turnover ratio, penalties, was ok with how much they ran it, feels like they need to utilize the guys they have in formations

I think you misunderstood my question. I just wanted to know thoughts on who to replace them. I haven't watched other teams a lot in the past years

I'd like to pick off position coaches from Chiefs and Ravens. Ravens were going to fire their HC and rebuild but then they came back and set the league on fire. Hawks QB coach looks like he's done wonders for Wilson and his career

If it were up to me, I would place a call to Lincoln Riley and try to get him to make the move to the NFL and bring his system from Oklahoma.  For the defense I would hire Kris Richard.

Said Peters was doing some nice things. Said overall he played pretty well

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You guys are mixing up the plays.  On 3rd and 7, we were on the 41, and they throw the ball for an incompletion (could have been intercepted).  The 64 yard fg could have been around 60-61 yards if they run there and Sanders get 3-4 yards.  I am not saying that is a definite gimme, of course it will be a tough one to put through.  My point is, Doug would have gone for it if it were 60-61 yards instead of 64 yards.

I got what you’re saying you could’ve ran it with Sanders on third down and 7 and picked up 3-4 yards so even after the penalty it’s still a 61 yard field goal which is doable For Elliott. However I thought it was a foolish decision to begin with just to rely on your kicker to make a 50+ Yard field goal. I’d have wanted to make it as easy as possible. That’s not an easy field goal. Even if Elliott is good from 50 it’s not a given. We saw that in Washington. I thought their second down play was the worse play out of them all.

Doug feels like these things happen with referring to the amount of injuries over the past 3 years

They limited JJAW because of his lower body injury

LOL

the immortal bob uecker once said it best in major league 2 "personally, i think he’s just trying to get out of the lineup”

Alshon is going to get revamped this week and they'll evaluate

Well yea, you’re going to get hurt when you constantly carry the entire team on your back

Asked about Wentz and how you fix it- Doug said maybe they should play fast and up-tempo where you don't have to think about things and just let him play

I can't get on board going off on offensive play-calling. Things like this are happening every week. Pederson dials it up perfectly...and Wentz misses a "lay-up"

I m the first person to blame coaches, play calling or game plan when it is appropriate.

I don't know how you watch the first three games and do not place 90+% of the offensive blame on the QB, and I remain a huge fan of Wentz.

No clue what has happened to him.

The Eagles are at the end of an era, and unfortunately are now going to be one of the worst teams in the league this year.  Not much you can do when you have so many years of terrible drafting, high picks busting left and right and near the league worst injury luck over multiple seasons.

If the Eagles continue to play this badly, we could be discussing drafting Spicolli.  Although I suspect the Jets and Giants will end up even more inept than the Eagles this year.

I wouldn’t rule it out that the jets are done with darnold. Douglas wasn’t there when he was drafted and has no ties to darnold. I don’t think you can rule out if the jets get the top pick they take Lawrence.

Doug was asked about giving up play calling and Doug said no

It was funny watching his reaction too lol

I just wonder if he added too much muscle mass and it has dramatically impacted his touch.  He just put too much on the ball.  All of his deep balls have been too long.  Of course this doesn't explain why he can't place the ball in front of his receivers on a screen.  So there's a part of this that is just mental.

Wentz is so unsure of himself, he is committing to who he is throwing to before the play starts instead of going through his reads to see who is open.

This is exactly it.

Someone should ask if Schwartz is going to give up playcalling.

I actually think that’s a great idea coming out of Doug for once. Both our 2 min offenses yesterday looked great.

The screen passes out to the flat he’s never been accurate with, even to Sproles.  He fires them out there on a line with no room for error.  He’s better at the short middle screen to the TE for some reason

No more "KILL KILL”

Sanders has a touchdown here if Carson throws a good pass to him

In his defense, I dont think hes confident that anyone will "get" open, and if they do, they might run a bad/wrong route, or while waiting for them to get open he will get hammered from his blind side

People arent looking at the full picture and everything that goes into playing QB.  That includes his history here and all of the pressure on his shoulders

I think he doesn’t trust his offensive line. I mean I know I wouldn’t right now. Jason peters looked awful. He was abused against Washington and yesterday against the bengals. Then you have herbig and pryor who are your starting guards, who realistically are back ups at best in this league. The only two starters out there are lane and Kelce. That’s a far cry from what we thought we were going to have after the draft in May
