You guys are mixing up the plays.  On 3rd and 7, we were on the 41, and they throw the ball for an incompletion (could have been intercepted).  The 64 yard fg could have been around 60-61 yards if they run there and Sanders get 3-4 yards.  I am not saying that is a definite gimme, of course it will be a tough one to put through.  My point is, Doug would have gone for it if it were 60-61 yards instead of 64 yards.

This is correct on the timeline of the plays.  We were at CIN's 41 and had 3rd & 7.  Wentz threw a pass towards Ward that went incomplete.  At the 41 it would have been a 58yd FG for Jake (41 + 10 for the EZ +7 for how many yards the spot of the ball behind the LoS).  You typically add 17 yards to what yardline the LoS is to get the FG distance.  And we still had a TO left.  We used the 1st of 2 OT TOs the previous offensive series.  So if we do run the ball there we can still call a TO to set up the FG.  CIN had already burned their 2 OT TOs so no freezing Jake.  We could have run Sanders on a quick handoff, called a TO (for at worst a 58yd FG or maybe he picks up 1-3 yards for a slightly shorter FG) that would have allowed the coaches to get the players settled and focused so maybe Pryor doesn't get jittery and false starts.

Contrary to popular Opine onion,  the Eagles are currently 1/2 game out of first place in the NFC East .

Wah wah wah wah

Shush. Beat San Fran. Come back the next day.

There is no glass is half full this season.  The glass has a hole in it and water is pouring out.

Yeah but imagine what we could do with two top 5 picks in a row....

Meh. I dont know, the pocket was closing in around him and we all know theyre trying to get the ball out of his hands asap

Here's the issue with selling off talent...Howie's seat is getting warm.

The more players we unload that he has signed and drafted...the worse he looks.  The more players we unload...the worse the record this year will be.

GM's in baseball will play that long game.  GMs in football get fired when they do that.  You'd almost have to fire Howie now and bring in a new GM to make these moves at the deadline.

Chocolate ice cream should go well with the vanilla game planning.

Lurie will tell Howie he's safe for 2021, then Howie will sell players in 2020.

Who is out there?  Also, the new GM needs an entire off season to decide which way he is going to rebuild this team.  It will require much more time than just bringing in a guy to plug and play.  We want a better GM, not just another GM.

I didn’t post at all during the game, but this one made me LOL. Shoot Gerry to the moon please.

So as bad a Gerry has been, it is time to try Taylor with TJ.  Imagine if TJ’s instincts rub off on a guy with Taylor’s athleticism.  Let Singleton be the third LB.  Bench Gerry and Riley except for STs, where they do well.

Bring Parks off IR.  May need to move Mills to CB next week to let Maddox’s ankle heal.  So Parks in his place and let’s have the Wallace era begin with him as the third S.  Keep playing Strap. Williams as the dime CB or Wallace, depending on the situation.  Will further evaluate with the all-22.

While I agree, Howie isn't going to lead a firesale.

Wait.  Didn’t teams get Tuesday off from practice as an award for a big win?  Now it’s common place to just not start the week until Wednesday!?

Ice cream truck doesn't come by until Wednesday.

I’m OK leaving Mills at corner for the rest of the season. I get he’s not very good. But Maddox is even worse in my opinion and he always gets hurt. We really need to stop spinning this like Avonte Maddox is a good corner. He’s not. I know it’s PFF but Maddox last year had a 58 grade and this year he has a 45. He really just isn’t that good.

A LT with limited tape in 2020, rendering Dillard useless, and a QB in 2021, rendering Wentz useless.

That would be my prediction.

I was going to say "It's fitting Doug loves vanilla ice cream."

The next GM's philosophy needs to be in between Joe Banner's (when you are 29 and 364 days old, you're gone) and Howie's (we will re-sign a 38 year old washed up player because 5 years ago he was one of the best at his position).

The screen passes out to the flat he’s never been accurate with, even to Sproles.  He fires them out there on a line with no room for error.  He’s better at the short middle screen to the TE for some reason

Maybe I'm wrong but I think he's been better in the past.  It's like the wheel route to Sanders.  He has missed that throw repeatedly but he can throw it.

Might have to at $80 mil over the cap.

Maybe Williams is good enough to be a temporary #2.  Great CB draft next year which means Howie gets cute and blows it.
