Just start throwing crap against the wall in the secondary and see what sticks.  That's better than what Schwartz typically does.

The best Maddox has looked in the NFL has been at safety.  Screw it.  Put Mills back at corner and Maddox at safety.  If he looks good, trade Mcleod and play Maddox/Wallace.  If he looks horrible, which I'm sure he will, then bench him and play Wallace/Mcleod.

Play Leblanc outside.  All the guy ever does is perform admirably, no matter what is asked of him.

And sadly, Rasul doing pretty well in Carolina. 🤦🏻‍♂️

These coaches can't coach.

They can scheme, but they can't coach for squat.

If Quez Watkins is healthy enough, bring him off IR and put JJAW on it.  Frankly, as inaccurate as Carson has been this year (started first half of games last year inaccurate), neither Jeffery nor JJAW serve much purpose in this offense.  Have Jeffery play a Perkins TE/WR role until Goedert is healthy.  Hightower at X, Watkins at Z with plenty of Ward, who actually gets open and catches passes, sprinkled in.

Can Marty today and run the frigging rock, Doug.

Yep, they sure did.  Another size, speed guy too.  I think Dallas destroys us this year.

Could be ugly. They have a good offense and ‘Ol Schwartzie isn’t drawing something up on the chalkboard.

The offensive play-design is not a problem.

People want to criticize the WRs, but they've been open in all 3 games. Reagor/Jackson have been getting separation down field. Ward was getting open against zone coverage a lot yesterday. Sanders is winning most of the time.

It's the QB.

I'm actually morbidly curious to see what kind of roster they put together for next year with the cap issues and the utter lack of talent.

Are we going to be looking at a WR corps of Reagor/Ward/JJAW/Hightower?  Or would they actually even try to sell Jeffery or Desean since they are another year removed from injury?

Dillard at LT with Herbig at LG after Kelce retires?  Would they dare draft an interior OL top 10 just to ensure they get a high quality player at a new position of need?

The same exact DE's for the 3rd or 4th year in a row?

Replacement parts at CB #2?

They truly have no means by which to address any of these issues.  Howie has burnt through all of them.  This IS their roster for next year.

The other shoe to drop...true "cap hell," which may or may not be on the horizon...that means parting with players you WANT to keep, not just getting rid of guys who you don't want to re-sign or have bloated contracts in return for decent value.  So it's not just about Ertz/Cox/Graham/Jeffery/Desean/Malik.

Howie roseman special. Draft the worst player available

And he's considered their "best" linebacker...

Gerry is turrible but what can Schwartz do?  They have less than zero talent at the position because apparently it’s not important to them at all.

Maybe Williams is good enough to be a temporary #2.  Great CB draft next year which means Howie gets cute and blows it.

It is amazing it was a great cornerback class in 2017 we wind up with douglas and jones. Great DL class in 2019 we wind up with shareef Miller.

Yep he's our #1 LB who has played almost 100% of the snaps this year. And nothing will change because the DC loves him.

You're crazy.  That sticks defense is the real deal.  Pull the entire secondary into the first row of stands of the endzone and they will never pass us!

First I would argue to go look around the NFL and tell me a unit that is worse than the Eagles linebackers? I really don’t think there is. Second this could be the worst linebacker unit the Eagles have had in the last 20 I’m sure we’ve had bad ones that I blocked out of my memory But never where i thought none of them should be starters

Don’t forget the historic RB class of 2017 and we take Pumphery. Lots of decent qbs on the board in 2019 and we took Thorson

LeBlanc is quick, not fast. Better suited for the nickel.  Mills is a bit faster.  Williams used to have speed. Want to see him in the all 22.

Jenkins looked good again last night. The defense/team sorely misses his leadership and playmaking skills.

Man   Who made the decision to book Miles Sanders on WIP every Monday at 1pm.  Holy ish what a boring interview.  Not sharp or engaging.

He's tired

Why did it take the brain trust OCs 3 games for this?

Even the broadcasters last night mentioned a few times how no one was open

Everyone knew linebacker was going to be an issue this year. Even those on the inside had to know it. But I think they were banking on the interior guys like Cox, Hargrave, and Malik to help hide that weakness. That’s not happening and they’re being exposed.

I’m fine seeing Williams on the outside. I’m more I’m done with seeing maddox. He is basically Brandon Boykin. He had a good rookie year and every year since he’s regressed and been hurt. Bills or Williams is fine with me. Frankly I would like to see Leblanc in the slot over Coleman because Coleman doesn’t have a future here anyways and he also isn’t very good. I think Leblanc is adequate as a nickle corner.

Its the D coordinator not putting a square peg in a round hole. They take Douglas who excels in a cover 2 and they run cover 2, and Douglas excels. Meanwhile Schwartz makes a shocked pikachu face.

I figured it all out.....Now I know why you are so in love with TL and Fields........

I bet you loved Fromm, Deshaun Watson and Harrison Bailey at some point as well.......

Watson yes, other two No

its a fast moving QB league now with Watson, Russell, Allen, Lamar, Mahomes

We need one, we need someone when it all breaks down that can run down the field for big games if need be.

I agree with the comments on that tweet that "RPO's" are probably being mislabeled. 13 passes with 0 runs seems highly suspicious.

I don’t know yesterday they had 18 quarterback hits an 8 sacks. Not much more you can ask of them. The linebackers are just really bad. And really bad is an understatement they are Fing terrible. I think the Eagles just grossly devalued the linebacker position to a whole other level. They’ve gone from devaluing it to completely making it laughable with who they send out there. these linebackers make Casey Mathews look like a pro bowler
