I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but this one is just stupid. I take issue with the contention, "...instead of throwing it away takes (sic) a (sic) unnecessary sack.." It was third down inside the five yard line. You try to extend the play with the hope someone breaks open. The "unnecessary" sack moved the ball back to the 10 - BFD.

agree

You have to wonder why

Made the same argument. The throw it away comment is dumb on 3rd and goal. A sack moving it back 5-7 yards on that part of the field at that point does little so there i want him to keep it alive and try to score. The only logic you could say for that is we were going to go for it on fourth down if you didn’t get the sack because we were at the three Yard line. However with how the Eagles are not scoring and struggling on offense and Doug deciding to punt the ball to take the tie, I don’t think we were going to go for it on fourth

At this point the whole team is a giant crap show. Even if Carson Wentz was playing well they are likely 2-1 and giving you false hope that they are better then what they are. Wentz needs to play better But if he was playing good it just covers up all the warts that the Eagles half. Him playing bad is exposing all of the bad moves and decisions we’ve made they come to the forefront and he’s not able to cover them up with his play

That's what game film is for. I want my team to win. They can figure out who sucks themselves and get rid of them without me having to watch this crap.

Yea, pretty much

Carson misses throws, no doubt about it.  But the scheme is flawed, and we have to grind to much.  I watch games all day, and there are players wide open in all the games.  We rarely have guys running wide open like other offenses do.

We do though

How hard is it when he has about 3 defensive calls?

Every S we've ever had seem to blow assignments at least 2-3 times per game minimum

Problem is this organization has gotten stubborn in letting go and admitting when they make a mistake. They’ll keep trying to fit a square peg into a round hole because They don’t want to admit they were wrong on a draft pick or a player. We sent Mack hollins out there for 3-4 games where he did absolutely nothing and we were told well he’s a good blocker and he lines up properly as a reason why he needs to be out there. The reality was they just didn’t want to admit they were wrong until it was so obvious to everyone that they were and they had to

Same reason we fancy ourselves as a QB factory

Oh man i Fing hated Simoneau

Rather have Mike McCoy?  Remember that 2nd round disaster.

There is guys wide open all the time in games I watch.  Just look at our defense, that is going on in a ton of games.  Our offense is not creative enough to get that to happen.

When I was in high school gym class we played baseball and, while other people tried to hit the ball as far as they could, I just looked out at where the worst players were fielding and hit the ball at them — I reached base every at-bat.

That’s what other coaches are telling their QB — throw it where Gerry and Maddox are covering

You mean Matt? Mike was a head coach :P

All you have to do is watch our games.  Guys run wide open against our defense all day, we struggle to get a guy that open once every 4 plays.

Yep, and Im no mastermind but something is off when the entire league really doesnt care about defense in general all that much, yet it looks like we're playing the 2000 Ravens every game

Ive said it before, but having our entire offense hinge on Wentz hitting on the 1-2 big plays that we can actually scheme up per game is not a winning formula, its a house of cards

Doug wastes waaaayy too many plays being cute, and it looks like we literally install a new offense every week, no one knows what theyre doing

Not Seattle open. Not buying it until someone comes up with the all 22 tape

Not Dawk.  Dawk was more likely to blow up opposing RB's and TE's.   Let me guess the experts want to ReEvaluate that career as well.

Throw it in the 2017 " fluke " pile. ROFL

McCleod has played well so far. 13 games left to go

Why do we constantly have to draft players and try to convert them to other positions? Why can't we just draft them to play the positions they are good at?

It's the most frustrating thing ever.  I don't know who it stems from in the franchise but it's like they want to prove that they are the smartest people in the room or they know some secret to success.  None of those picks have panned out.  It drives me crazy.

Watched Jefferson’s catches vs Tennessee. They did a good job of scheming to his strengths. On the outside it was speed outs and he made the contested catch on the go route. They did a lot of condensed splits to give him two-way go’s. His long TD came against a zero blitz where he was matched up against 36 year old Jonathon Joseph, whom he easily outran.

Smart.

Yes, my fault Matt McCoy.

True. But in fairness Russell Wilson is playing out of his Fing mind. He’s on pace for 75 passing touchdowns for the year

Going to have to check the tape on this but I'm not sure Dawk played under Schwartz

In fact, If I were Doug and Carson, I would just read all the press that tells them " THEY SUCK" and just not even bother to play the other 13.  That way all the draft experts can get back on ESPN "booing" the picks extremely loudly.

I'd agree with you in recent years.... Was not a huge fan of MR Ohio State .... Found it hilarious when people flipped when he left.  He's not doing much in New Orleans.

Yea, that's fair. My comment was more aimed at people that harass someone to publicly declare that Wentz sucks when he throws an off target pass that was tipped at the line or bring up Lawrence 20 times a day in a non joking way.
