Not Seattle open. Not buying it until someone comes up with the all 22 tape

He has two baller receivers. We have Greg Ward, who gets wide open because teams forget he’s on the field.

Yea, that's fair. My comment was more aimed at people that harass someone to publicly declare that Wentz sucks when he throws an off target pass that was tipped at the line or bring up Lawrence 20 times a day in a non joking way.

Trust. The. Process.

Yes, my fault Matt McCoy.

If you keep it up, I'm just going to repeatedly post the names Mike Mamula and Chris GoCong until somebody quits or admits you know  " We did Ahhhhight a couple years back " <g>

Until they lose a game with alshon jeffrey on the field, I'm just going to claim he's the Rabbit's foot.

Of course we also were down to like two healthy receivers too, and they both belong in the slot.

Watched Jefferson’s catches vs Tennessee. They did a good job of scheming to his strengths. On the outside it was speed outs and he made the contested catch on the go route. They did a lot of condensed splits to give him two-way go’s. His long TD came against a zero blitz where he was matched up against 36 year old Jonathon Joseph, whom he easily outran.

Smart.

Justin Jefferson killed it at LSU by running over routes, when paired with Chase. Chase would get doubled and clear out for Jefferson who was fast enough to take advantage for secondary CBs or zone coverage. I did like Jefferson as a prospect, just not for us.

Reagor can win 1 on 1 without needing to be schemed up. That's what makes Jeudy, Reagor, Ruggs, etc. special. Even Dallas is scheming up plays to get Lamb the ball in space because he's not refined as a route-runner (that's coming)

I was just going to share this.  Crazy.  I know they have 2 great tight ends but my goodness, to go down and still lead the league in 12 is silly.

Every S we've ever had seem to blow assignments at least 2-3 times per game minimum

I mean Corey Graham screwed up sticks defense.  I mean....

More crazy i believe they were close to 60-70 percent the first two weeks

Seattle open comes from Wilson extending plays and CBs having to cover for longer than is possible.

Eagles constantly have receiving options open. Last year Wentz didn't see or passes were dropped, or Wentz threw high.

This year,  he just all over the place with his accuracy. And you still had some bad drops from ertz and goedert already

It's never been an issue of offensive scheme.  It's consistently been an issue of preparedness/execution and synchronicity. If Doug had a massive downfall its having the team ill-prepared. Its absolutely not his play design.

Little things like that make such a difference.

It was like 75 last week

You mean Matt? Mike was a head coach :P

The Eagles were able to get Trent Cole in that draft.  I mean Herremans, Patterson and Cole were all decent picks.  McCoy was a disaster of a pick.  Reggie Brown was OK for a couple of seasons.  I think he had some nagging type injuries that really derailed him in his 4th season.

Motion would help this team a lot.  Also jet sweep and end around play action would make a big difference in the running game.

I remember at least one play JJAW was in motion.

Great success.

Time to invest more money in the DL then.

Off you trot Howie.

IMO playing to maintain a tie is just a cowardly way to end a game. A team that does that should be embarrassed.

And as I've heard on a podcast today... What Doug essentially said with that decision was that the Bengals had a better chance of getting sufficient yards to get the FG than our offense did.

Doug had no faith in his offense or defense.

That's what he said essentially, and that he has no faith in himself either.

Well not sure about that. Doug isn't out there making plays. But it absolutely told his team that he has no faith in them.

Agreed. Even more cowardly to say "gee I wish I could have done that over again. I would go for it" the very next morning.
