Surprised he's only been targeted 13 times (though I expect that number to go up as opposing OCs realize what a weakness he is and will attack him until Gym Shortz makes some kind of change) and the YPC is only 12.15.  Though on goal line TDs it will bring that average down.  And again, surprised it's only 2 TDs allowed.  QBs have a near perfect passer rating vs Gerry as I believe 158.3 is the highest.  Another FO and coaching mistake.

EDIT:  Just had a thought.  Wonder what it would look like with Gerry trying to cover JJAW?  Is that the definition of a lose/lose situation?  It's like that idea of the unmovable object vs the irresistible force, though it would be the reverse here so it would be like the object that just floats all over vs the force that just sits still.

if I played LB I would have the same pass defense stats as Gerry against the bungles.

Sign me Doug!

I'll play for half of what Geerys making.

Of course i'd be injured after the first play

Alshon's back. This is a whole different team with him on the field.  You'll see.

This team is LOADED on Offense. It simply lacks FLOW and with this Defense, the only chance they got is to Ka Ching Ka Ching Ka Ching on Offense.

Alshon if he's healthy gives them that money throw. He catches all of Carson's 3 foot over their heads balls lol ( Nah Wentz will settle down he's just in a Funk. Played ok last week)

Well not "currently" loaded with the injury bug of course. But unlike last year, this team has weapons. Haven't used them much but they have them.

Dougie's thinking of keeping Alshon off the field until next week , isn't that the rumor? Guess it's all in how he practices.

So you want JP's job not Gerry's

Kyle Shanahan will probably have Nick Mullens throw the ball at him 15 times on Sunday night. Can you imagine this chump trying to cover George Kittle? I don't know if he will play because he has been hurt but if he does then look out.

We’re gonna get schemed up so bad. I defend Schwartz a lot, but Sunday isn’t gonna go well for him.

I'm saying "before the year" I thought the only shot the Eagles had this year was to be a 30+ point per game offense.  Haven't really lived up to that.

It's the league. Look around it's how the game's played in 2020

Even if Kittle doesn't play they still have Jordan Reed who used to abuse the Eagles when he was on the Foreskins.  If the 49ers don't target their TEs at least a dozen times in the game then their offensive philosophy is shite.

So should In2football put you down for this week's prediction of 49ers 52, Eagles 16?

@In2football9ers 33 eagles 17

I don't think it'll be as bad as some of the other ones we'll face within the next month but I definitely see a loss

That would be true but Jordan Reed got hurt last game after getting rolled up on. He hurt his knee and ankle. It's still early in the week so maybe he can go but I have my doubts. So maybe there's a slim chance that 47 won't get us completely killed.

I’ve tried to hide my eyes rather than watch our LB play — but to me Riley has looked the best when he’s been out there.  I think Burrow was actually laughing at Edwards after his scramble/pass that got called back.  That was really bad.

Considering the Rams tight end went for 3 TD's...I'm putting Kittle down for 4.

I'm Fing tired of the BS in this town. Every Fing team except maybe the Flyers just have been blatantly neglecting fixing glaring problems.

I've said many times I think ego is more responsible for sports failure than anything else. Most mistakes all come back to ego. Contract disputes, getting rid of good players, unwilling to fire bad coaches/GMs, unwilling to change philosophies, unwilling to admit you're wrong, etc.

We have ownership and/or front offices in this town who either don't care enough or their egos are too big to admit they're wrong.

How hasn't Howie addressed WR or LB better? How did he leave his QB out to dry like this?

How haven't the Sixers added a better GM than Brand when it was the #1 coveted GM job in sports? How come they haven't added shooters and ball handlers?

How haven't the Phillies fired Klentak yet? The owner had to overstep him to fire Kapler, yet he decides to still keep him employed. Then he blatantly neglects the bullpen.

Philly fans deserve better than this. These people either don't care enough or are just flat out incompetent. Be better.

Seems about right, but what about the 2nd half?

Whatever Gerry’s nickname is, I’m pretty sure this is his theme song:

And here they go again on their own.
They go down the only road they ever known.
Like a drifter they were born to walk alone.
And they’ve made up their mind.
They ain’t wasting no more time.

Perfect. The Eagles prefer it that way.
