Yup. He’s not throwing to great players and he was behind a terrible OL. He still threw some dimes and didn’t turn the ball over.

Hopefully Parks can comeback and they just move Mills back to CB. Not sure there is a better option out there, sad to say.

I don't agree with this. Wentz has shown to be injury-prone, even when he's lights out. If Wentz is your franchise QB, you MUST have a backup plan. I'd feel the same way if my QB was Cam Newton or Matt Stafford. If your QB is Russell Wilson? Then sure, neglect the position.

Of course, your backup plan doesn't have to be a 2nd round pick. It could have been Cam Newton (this year). It could have been Winston. It could have been Andy Dalton. It could have been a later round QB. (RD4+).Just because you need insurance doesn't mean you have to take out an overly expensive insurance policy.

When they made the decision to sign Wentz  to a franchise QB contract, the ability to hedge went away.  You can't waste resources and succeed in the NFL, it doesn't work.  Of course you need a good backup plan -- look at 2017, and how that worked out with Foles -- but that never includes using a critical, high draft pick on what you expect will be a backup QB.  The reasons are numerous and I have previously outlined them at length.

Good insurance analogy and I agree with your 2nd paragraph.  I like having a veteran backup when one is available and presents a salary, scheme and culture fit.

It might be more useful if Taylor and K'Von Wallace quiz Schwartz on when they'll be in the lineup instead of Gerry and Mills.

Maybe the daily testing can confirm exposure.

This is true but why sign Hargrave in FA?

Maybe, but I don't think so

With all the daily testing they have it shouldn’t be that long. I don’t see how they play this weekend though with no ability to prep

Badly, but still probably better than us

They can rapidly test, to see if you have it. Its a 2 week quarantine for those who test positive.

Even after a negative test my Pastor had to quarantine for two weeks after his son's 2 weeks had ended (his son tested positive and never got symptoms and then tested negative twice)

Well this is at least good news

I listened to the audio. Not sure how Clarence has that takeaway from it though. Jones was kind of just rambling and incoherent, but he didn't take any shots at Dak.

Unfortunately the ones we really need to play are hurt. This season sucks.

Much like all of 2020

If we have a combined 7 wins the next two years either Wentz got hurt or he stinks. I’m not down for two bad years in a row.

I'm concerned that this team will say 2020 is the aberration year and that 2021 will be better with some retooling. That rarely works.

Have you been watching Malik Jackson?

I have been watching Nate Gerry and our secondary.

damn . just checked the schedule again , the team is a top 5 pick easily. eagles have shown squat to be able to get out of this poo show and have only been consistent in 1 area injuries. damn  this team needs to hit it out the park on next season's draft.

Very possible. Plus they are hanging onto the fact the team was able to squeak into the playoffs last year

Lol yup. The team picked an awful year to play like trash

Need to get Howie out of here if we get that top 5 pick though. I just don't trust him and his team anymore

Always a snappy remark from y'all smh.

You have plenty of valid reasons to complain about Howie Roseman. Thinking he could predict a foot injury from an extremely durable Malik Jackson is just showing you have an agenda.

If they do finish top 5 it’s going to be interesting where in the top 5. I’m guessing 3-4 range cause I’m guessing they beat the giants and redskins. win a game they aren’t supposed too. Haven’t looked at the mock drafts yet but i imagine there is going to be a good OL prospect, DE prospect and chase. As much as i yearn for a playmaker like chase I’m doubting the eagles pass up a DL or OL at that area. I don’t think they’ll be 1 cause the jets are atrocious and i think they have a shot at 0-16. They’ll likely win one but if there’s a team this year that could do it I’d bet on them

A top 5 pick would be quite the dilemma. Stay put and take a top tier talent, or try to trade back a few spots and pick up more draft capital which this team desperately needs?

They also have been in 3rd and 7+ in 24 of the 47 which is 51 percent of the time

Let's say that happens. We'll pick a q.b. to add to the factory

Oh good, Davion Taylor is good at quizzes in front of the team.  Logan Wilson had an INT against us last week.  Good to know Jim.  Thanks.

I think it depends on where you’re picking in the top five. I look at it this way if you’re picking at one or two were field or Lawrence are probably going to go then the draft capital of you get in return for making that trade is going to be ridiculous. Somebody is going to severely overpay. That’s how the dilemma becomes are you going to pass up on either one of those guys if Carson Wentz continues to look the way that he does and you have jalen hurts. However if you’re picking at three or four or five, I don’t think somebody’s gonna pay you nearly as much to move up in this draft. You are likely better off taking the the prospect you love
