I think it depends on where you’re picking in the top five. I look at it this way if you’re picking at one or two were field or Lawrence are probably going to go then the draft capital of you get in return for making that trade is going to be ridiculous. Somebody is going to severely overpay. That’s how the dilemma becomes are you going to pass up on either one of those guys if Carson Wentz continues to look the way that he does and you have jalen hurts. However if you’re picking at three or four or five, I don’t think somebody’s gonna pay you nearly as much to move up in this draft. You are likely better off taking the the prospect you love

I really doubt they will end up being #1 pick bad. I'd guess somewhere around 5-7 if things don't improve.

Oh good, Davion Taylor is good at quizzes in front of the team.  Logan Wilson had an INT against us last week.  Good to know Jim.  Thanks.

We’re blaming Schwartz now for Howie’s picks?

Maybe we should try the opposite way it might workout. Like WR landfill

If that's the case, you keep your top pick at 3 or 4 and then trade back in the 2nd round to try to get back in to the 4th thanks to the Avery trade.

every time there is some goofy claim added to the franchise it comes back to bite us in the arse.

It’s our new normal.

This is what I think really happened at the end of the game. Doug and co only had the FG attempt on their mind. After the penalty they had no idea what to do or what play to call. No timeouts so they took a delay of game and still couldn't come up with something on the fly besides punt.

No not blaming him at all.  Still just a ridiculous thing to be proud of.  Rather than talk about how good the rookies can look on the field we have to hear they are good at quizzes in front of teammates.  It's the ultimate slap in the face.

I believe we have a second 5th rounder from the Dallas trade

Yup. And potentially another 6th and 2 7ths thanks to comp pickz

At least Dallas is looking like they are going to implode

It’s really not. He’s just saying that even the backups are doing their part to prepare. I think it’s a smart thing to do.

I get that part of it and that's great.  ALL backups should know their part and prepare.  Nothing to really be proud of or talk to the media about.

However, that's the only thing we've heard from Davion Taylor this year.  He is good at a quiz in front of his teammates.  Sorry, I'm bitter towards this because other teams rookies are out on the field making plays because they aren't backups.  They are actually contributing to the team.  I know Jim doesn't make the picks but you better believe he voices his opinion and Howie considers what he wants in a player.

He wanted speed and coverage ability in all likelihood. I doubt he told Howie to get him someone who might be ready by 2022.

I also doubt he asked Howie to take a backup QB over Wilson in round 2.

This team’s motto should just be:

STFU!!

Not arguing that at all.  99% Howie is to blame.  I'm just voicing my frustration about the sort of things we have to endure as Eagles fans.  The point is rather than hear him talk about how great of a game he had, we are hearing that he was good at a quiz in front of his teammates.  Not even anything like we are developing a role for Taylor.  That's what I want to hear.  Davion has done a great job in practice and his knowledge that we are looking at any possible way to get him on the field.  His coverage abilities should run circles around Gerry's.  Give me that information and I'll feel better about things.

We'd have to vote:

WR landfill

CB landfill

LB landfill

Coaching and player development landfill

Drafting landfill

Even after a negative test my Pastor had to quarantine for two weeks after his son's 2 weeks had ended (his son tested positive and never got symptoms and then tested negative twice)

Supposedly the test the nfl have is 99 percent effective even if you are not yet showing symptoms. The nfl tests at least two times, to reduce the 1 percent risk even further.. The vikings all came back negative yesterday and were tested again today. If those are negative, they will play.

Similar to how the mlb handled it.

Don’t hold your breath. Isaiah Simmons has been atrocious for Arizona, and Taylor is about 500 percent rawer than him. I doubt we see any meaningful snaps from him until possibly late in the year, unless we decide to punt this season.

That’s nice, but adrenaline with a chance to win the game will help kick a ball further than no adrenaline in pre-game

We already did!

Thinking more like 2020 dumpster fire.

At this very moment even if it were a pick at #6 — priority should be WR, LB, or CB.  The Eagles haven’t drafted a blue chip player at any of those positions in ..... forever
