That’s nice, but adrenaline with a chance to win the game will help kick a ball further than no adrenaline in pre-game

True story, back when I played basketball in high school (we had just gone from playing with a big rock to an actual ball) when I was warming up before the game if I hit most of my shots I didn't do well in the game but if I missed a lot of them I did well during the game.

At this very moment even if it were a pick at #6 — priority should be WR, LB, or CB.  The Eagles haven’t drafted a blue chip player at any of those positions in ..... forever

Micah Parsons would be lovely, but I doubt they draft a LB in the 1st ever, let alone top 10. CB I don't think there is anyone that good coming out, but i'm not really sure. Ja'marr Chase it is!

We're going to draft in the top 10 (top 5 is tougher due to some many bad teams).

Impact player at any premium position is fine.

I’m not overly familiar with Parsons. Is he a pass rusher, like a 3-4 OLB?

Is it just me or does it seem like 95% of the time Doug will pass first down(usually incomplete), then run second down(defense will know it’s coming) then end up with a 3rd and long.

I’d love if someone has the stats on that for the first 3 weeks.

He's a chess piece, do it all type LB. Played DE in high school and then MLB at Penn St. Superior athlete, can rush the passer, play the run and is very fast. Fast enough to cover RB/WR's while being big enough to also match up with TE's.

So no chance he’s a 4-3 end?

I wouldn't think so. He'd be undersized. He's got an Isaiah Simmons build.

College is going through COVID too

I was fine with not kicking the FG, but they should have gone for the 4th and 12. I’m glad they didn’t though because I’m rooting for draft position now and didn’t want them to win.

What good does a high draft pick do if you keep drafting crap?

I have a hard time believing there isn't a single play in the playbook that can get someone 12 yards and out of bounds. Surely they planned for this situation to happen at some point.

Let's make 3-12-1 happen! That's enough to draft in the top 6.

We playing 17 games this year?

I’d rather not sit through 17 games of this S.

The tie makes all projections worse.

Eagles/Giants in prime-time will not be a fun watch.

If they do finish top 5 it’s going to be interesting where in the top 5. I’m guessing 3-4 range cause I’m guessing they beat the giants and redskins. win a game they aren’t supposed too. Haven’t looked at the mock drafts yet but i imagine there is going to be a good OL prospect, DE prospect and chase. As much as i yearn for a playmaker like chase I’m doubting the eagles pass up a DL or OL at that area. I don’t think they’ll be 1 cause the jets are atrocious and i think they have a shot at 0-16. They’ll likely win one but if there’s a team this year that could do it I’d bet on them

I'd rather build up the trenches and get Oline and Dline

Let's say that happens. We'll pick a q.b. to add to the factory

People that want Trevor are going to be in for a surprise when the Oline doesn't block for him

But he hit it? I'd still let him kick. If they lose then oh well. If they won then that would have helped motivate them maybe. And we saw what happened when they tied

Not surprised. College athletes aren't going to quarantine themselves throughout the season

Especially for the team that suggested the 4th-and-15 rule change to the competition committee ...... Coaching!

Bye week counts as a win because we don't waste a day watching garbage

You get to do that next year.

I think its about a 99% chance he misses from 64. Either short or blocked. 64 is the NFL record and was in Denver so high altitude played a factor. I wanted them to go for a pass and try to get out of bounds.

People that want Trevor seem to think the Eagles will not only scrap their #2 pick (and about $60M in dead money) from 2016, but their second round pick from 2020 as well.  Sorry; even if the Eagles moved on from Wentz, their logical course of action would be to install Hurts as the starter -- not spend a top 5 pick on another QB

It would be hilarious if the Titans won that game on Sunday, then people could look at Doug and say "what the hell do you do around here all week anyways?"
