If he keeps playing like he did against Tenn I'll have to eat crow.

It's not that I didn't think jefferson would be good I just thought he was a slot receiver and eagles needed out side help as they play so much 12.

Most of jeffersons catches have come from the slot and even the times he lined up outside he's running short outs and ins minus the one contested long catch he had in tenn lining up at X.

He looked good though, wish reagor was healthy I think he could of had a big game against Cincy guess we'll have to wait a bit to see

I can confidently say that jefferson is much better than JJAW☹️

I didn’t hate Jefferson. I didn’t like his fit for the players that you had already here on the roster. He would’ve had to be a sure fire outside wide receiver which I think his best days are still going to be in the slot. I think he has the luxury as well of having Adam Thielen on the field and that is the guy teams are gearing to stop. At this point teams aren’t trying to stop DeSean Jackson cause he’s not healthy.

if the Eagles would’ve went out signed Robby Anderson I would have been more for going and getting Justin Jefferson. At that point you could use a slot receiver. Add on you could’ve then down the road gotten rid of ertz and went with goedert and use Jefferson in the slot more and some outside. But the problem was the Eagles only had one speed receiver into desean and he was in a long-term option or really short term cause he continuously gets hurt.

I like Jefferson. I thought then like i do now he is gonna be a good wide receiver in the league. However the Eagles Due to poor roster construction and bad contracts at wide receiver are relying on an old speed threat and nobody else had speed at that point. Now they could’ve went Jefferson and banked on the later rounds getting hightower and watkins. But neither of those guys are surefire locks and you might need a speed guy again next year if you went jefferson and likely have an issue of speed yet again this year. Granted reagor got hurt

It's frustrating watching so many rookie WRs and 2nd year WRs have even minimal success and get nothing from JJAW.

Even if it's a 5 yard out not only does he have zero receptions the last 3 games he doesn't even have a targets is he really so awful that Carson won't even look at him.

Is he not getting open or is Carson just not looking his way.

Seems against Cincy pederson was flexing Ertz out to X receiver as the big receiver and would run rodgers at TE or bring in burnett as another receiver.

Why tell the fans how good JJaw is looking in camp and that they will need to lean on him with reagor down? Then goedert and desesn go out and rich rod and burnett get more looks than JJAW???

Just a failure from top to bottom.

Yup.

I liked Robby anderson as well.

I'm still as I'm sure most are scratching my head over why the heck howie extended jeffrey then drafted JJaw to be his " replacement" FUBAR😡

Doesn’t have targets??? He has a drop and an interception! Put some respect on that mans name!

Can you imagine?  Not signing Hargrave or NRC (players we didn't need) and using that money for Anderson and then drafting Jefferson.  Boy that would be scary.

He has 2 targets and one drop. I'm not sure how you figure he has an int?

Would be nice if he actually caught the few targets he does get.

Not sure why Doug would say were going to rely on JJaw more these next few games then give him 20% of the snaps with zero  targets.

Does he really think by saying that that maybe defenses will game plan for JJaw?

I liked the Hargrave signing hated the malik jackson signing the year before.

But yes anderson and jefferson would be better than nrc and Hargrave.

Nrc has been awful.

The debate is a more painful watch than Eagles football

I get why they loved hargrave but the issue was you already had a ton of money invested in cox and malik At DT. It was overkill unless you assumed malik was just done or you were ready to move on from cox sooner rather than later. Not sure how they truly felt about malik this offseason. Probably didn’t know based off the lis franc injury and wanted to double down to make sure cox wasn’t playing with nobodies again. I wouldn’t have gone that route. Would’ve tried to add a DT early in the draft to go with malik and cox. Used the money to address another area or areas.

I wouldn’t have signed NRC simply cause you had Leblanc and maddox Who are both slot corners. You needed another outside Cb. i didn’t think NRC was that much of an upgrade. 2 years ago i would’ve but he’s declined every year since. However he’s only making 1.3 mil against the cap so that’s not really killing me.

Hey in college we used to get drunk on a Thursday night and go play bingo at this church with the elderly. they had a blast with us. I won to 1000 dollars one time doing it.

Meant his one target resulted in an interception and was being completely sarcastic fwiw

With malik Jackson I didn’t hate the signing. DT made sense. I did question if he was done after he got benched in Jacksonville. I hated the contract they gave him for a guy who is coming off a down year and potentially on the downside of his career. he was only 29 but his best days might’ve been behind him and they gave him that contract which is a really hard contract to get out of the first three years. You were basically stuck with him if he was good or bad for three years. That’s how that contract is laid out. Gonna have to restructure it. He’s making 13+ mil and his dead money is 12.5 mil next year. Not sure you want to restructure at his age.
like this is his contract

Eagles football not the worst thing I watched this week.

Was the Yuuuuuge Charlie Garner game the last time the Eagles traveled to San Fran ?

I'm sure it's not but it's one that sticks in my mind.

No we lost when Riley cooper dropped a pass from foles.

The debate is an interesting parallel to the Eagles.  Don't hate JJAW.  Hate the people that brought him here.

Trump and Biden aren't the problem.  As Americans, we were dumb enough to keep voting for these people.  And that goes for both of them.
