If we play the "why not" game we will already be here the rest of our lives and we are only in week 4.

😅

I have emotionally checked out of the season.

I'm on to the draft and the cap debacle.

So has the team/coaches, apparently.

It’s not about rushing him back, it’s the fact they went into a Bengals game knowing they had a free roster spot and didn’t use it. Why not sign a PS guy to the roster to help a thin secondary so NRC isn’t playing outside reps after one injury? Why not sign McGill to the roster with Cox being a GTD and Hargrave trying to get into shape? It’s a must win game, and doing nothing reeks of complacency and lack of urgency.

Great roster management there!

I'm more concerned that the Eagles are keeping guys on the roster who shouldn't be on the roster at all due to performance, or lack thereof.

Pretty frustrating to say the least. I’ve been all over them for the way they mishandle roster management.  It makes no sense and reeks of arrogance if you ask me. We’re fine there. But you nailed it. It’s not about getting Reagor back a week early. It’s his roster spot that could be used for another position. They knew he was going to have surgery.  Heck 3 weeks is just enough time for the suture to be totally healed up not to mention the actual surgery. So he might be ready in 3 weeks.  Use the 3 week IR when you can.

I said the same thing about Alshon.  Why not just keep him on PUP and wait the 6 weeks. I highly doubt he is going to be a full go right away. Utilize the systems in place to your advantage. Make sure Alshon is 100%. Use those 6 weeks to see what a guy like Killins or Holyfield could do. No we just have a wasted roster spot for an aging veteran. Just like last year with DJack.

The Eagles roster management is the worst in the NFL.

Agreed here too.

BTW Who won the pool with Djax? Who had him pulling a hammy by week 3?

This guy! Thats who.

I’m in the pool he misses 3 games or more. Does the last one count as a half game missed as he left early in the game?

You'll get no arguement from me

Howie's a bean counter i wouldn't expect him to evaluate talent

Well he's also been a deal maker in terms of trades and FA signings.

I don't think Howie is going to get ousted.  I think the only way that's going to happen is if there's someone else in the building who wants him gone and right now I don't think there is.

So i have to get inside the building

I was asking mainly for a roster spot. If he had surgery last week then why wait to place him on IR

I think they may have done it sooner if they had someone they could have added but why make the move before it needs to be made.

But all you win is more sadness

For fairness reasons, hope it's Monday.

Last Tuesday night game was the debacle we had against Minnesota where joe Webb beat us

So if Jackson doesn't play and Jeffery doesn't play (easing both back in, which in Doug-speak means several more weeks), the Eagles offense will consist of Hightower and JJAW outside, Ertz and Butler at TE, and Ward in the slot ..... 49ers coaching staff could really just spend the week with their families

who would’ve thought heading into a season with a WR corps of desean, 3 rookies, JJAW, Ward and a injury prone alshon would be a bad idea......

What are we rushing him back for?

Reagor might be the lone bright spot of an otherwise dismal 2020 season, you know, give us something to watch, a reason to actually turn the game on.

However, he will likely only get injured again, since , well you know, it's the Eagles.

Agreed, he's survived much worse situations than this.

We are screwed. The team is going to suck for awhile. Too many old players, bad contracts, bad draft picks, team doesn't click, always injured, Wentz regressing by the minute, and bad overall Coaching. At least we have the sixers...oh.

Disagree -- I think Week 1 vs WASH he was very bad, and has been improving each week -- still not near his normal level of play, but at least he's moving around now, buying time, making plays with his legs .... which is what he has to do to be successful.  There was none of that in Week 1

He was worse against LA then Washington imo. Yeah he used his legs last game but was still very inaccurate.
