Yikes, Doug. Yikes.

I think at this point he likely steps away at the end of this season.  He doesn't handle adversity well and I don't trust that he has any answers at all.  The players will see that, if they don't already.

You can’t be serious.

I said it before -- if he wants to keep throwing players under the bus he's going to lose them.  There was a report going into the season he's already at his limit; I don't think he holds up under scrutiny every week

The Philly media is generally garbage and we fans are notoriously fickle.  No one would blame him with the frustration.

True on both counts; wish Vermeil could have stayed around longer.  The local media there is worse than most cities I would say

Sure, but he's a 5th year coach. Frustration is understandable, and I'm sure that was an honest answer, but he should be smart enough to not turn and drive a wedge between the team and fans/media. He's not the only one, either. Sanders and Reagor have been going at fans on social media. It's a bad look, and you are seeing the mood that Doug is setting in the locker room.

This game is IMO the worst of Doug Pederson era.

100% agree on your take.  However, he's used the "no one believes in you" rallying cry before...and it worked.

Social distancing before it was a thing.

I think they are just preparing for 2021

Also, they are adding Alshon back into the mix. What's the over/under of number of weeks he starts complaining with a struggling Wentz? 3? It only took about 8 before and that was with Wentz playing generally well.

Carson will just text him this.

I doubt he leaves. I don't believe in any injury response he says but I don't think he's losing the locker room

That quote is so taken out of context it's unreal. Click bait.

I think that's consistent with the law in most states.  I am actually working as a "poll watcher" this election.  I have worked as an observer for a re-count process in the past.  The law in NC is that internal poll observers have to be voters in the County where they are watching polls.  External poll watchers can be anyone.  I mean the roll of the poll watcher is really just to observe and if approached provide assistance to a voter.  I mean the basic idea is that you are helping people be able to cast ballots and sometime reminding the election volunteers of the law.  Of course, there's also the issue of reporting irregularities and sometimes obtaining affidavits when there's an issue.  I have found, though, if you treat the election officials like they are acting in good faith then you can usually resolve issues.

PA has three rolls.  All volunteer.  Poll worker, which are the folks minding the rolls, handing out the cards and paper ballots.  The judge, who oversees the workers and who you can hand your mail in ballot to.  That person gives out the provisional ballots.  The watchers represent the major parties.  They really are watchers.  They stay through the tabulation and reporting.  One each party.  They have to be from the area covered by the polling place.  The exception are the watchers at the county level, where they open and tabulate mail in ballots and collect the local tabulations.  Those poll watchers can be on a county level.  Frankly, that seems appropriate to me.   There is a move afoot to expand the positions to a countywide basis, like yours.  I can go with that.  But frankly, that should be as needed outside of your owndistrict to make sure all polling places are staffed.  I don’t want folks from other states or jurisdictions coming in and intimidating voters.

I have volunteered for poll worker training but probably won’t do it this year due to familial obligations.

Maybe he is cratering now, but I think there is ample evidence over the previous seasons that he responds well to adversity.

How is it taken out of context? Did you hear the quote? He said:

"Thanks for the positivity. I appreciate that. Thanks for being upbeat and energetic today, that's always great. Listen, short season, we only played 3 games. Hasn't been our best, were excited for this opportunity, another week to get better as a team. Look, we love our fans... nobody is satisfied. Fans aren't, I'm not, players aren't, nobody is satisfied with where we are. Even if we were 3-0, you guys wouldn't be satisfied."

Did anyone ever have a period, whether shooting hoops, batting, golfing, bowling etc. where you had an issue with placement and the more you tried the worse it got?  I have in each of the afore mentioned sports.  I wonder if Wentz is having one of those.  Intoxicants cured everything but my golf game.   Maybe Carson needs to quaff some shots.

Even McLane wouldn’t get butt hurt at the honesty of Doug’s statement.  Heck, we have media and some fans that **** about the defensive effort against Brady in a Super Bowl the Eagles won.

Needing some retooling after a Super Bowl and playoff run isn’t that unusual.  Will happen in KC too.

Seems to happen to every team, except the Patriots (who are notorious cheaters). A lot of people in here seem to think it's unique to the Eagles.

I want to see NE competitive enough this year to sink their shot at one of the top QBs but mediocre enough to not advance in the playoffs.
