Really depends on what the injury is and the severity of it, imo.

If there's little chance of re-aggravating it, then he would likely play (at least) a handful of snaps, imo.

That's still in play. What i meant in maybe later down the road. It's no longer an imminent signing.

It's true that his contract wouldn't be guaranteed for the year if he signs after week one but that does not mean we are hoping for it. I know I'm not.

If its the same shoulder injury we were talking about in here before, then I'd prefer they not mess around and just have him heal up.  Any kind of brisk arm raising could end up tweaking it.  Is he out there catching balls thrown above his head?  Is he already already full range of motion?

I mean I trust the medical staff but...   No, I don't actually.
