He’s a twig for a TE. If he can gain 15-20 pounds and run a 4.6, we might have something.

Perkins was 227 when he first got here. He is up to 241 per PE.com roster.  JJAW is 225.  So he is light at 227.  He is 6’ 5” which is two inches taller than Perkins and three inches taller than JJAW.  I have no issue with him as a WR/TE tweener if he can runs routes and catch.  The catching is the issue.  Broke his hand with the Cards in 2019. Cut coming out of camp this year.  11 drops on 71 catchable targets as a red shirt junior. Now Reagor had some drops but not in that range. He s YAC in college was pretty awesome.  From PFF predraft:

If he can gain 15-20 pounds and retain his speed, he’s basically a carbon copy of Jared Cook as a prospect. Cook ran a 4.5 at 245 and battled drops for much of his career.

I’ll take a shot on a guy like that every time. I’d prefer he be on the PS, but in a lost season it’s fine by me he’s on the 53.

You can't see the difference between what you typed and this?

Doug Pederson when asked what he would say to fans on why they should believe the #Eagles can turn this around: "Even if we were 3-0, you guys (reporters) wouldn’t be satisfied.”

Doug needs to get a grip, railing against local media(and fans) isn't going to do him any favors.

This team has stunk for 3 straight games taking it out on the media doesn't fix anything.

Id rather he just say he doesn't have time for media as he's focused on getting better.

11 penalties against Cincinnati isn't better 2 ints wasn't better.

8 sacks was better generating 0 turnovers not better.

This team has more problems than just Wentz yips.

The eagles got 99 problems and the media ain't one of them😒

If I may chime in on the Sanders twitter post(checking back 3 pages no posts about it. I'll assume it's old conversation now) I thought about this. The intention is beautiful; and if the team does manage to get their ish back together, I could see this on bus stops. My response is; hey, we're still fans. We're still here, waiting for some sign of hope for this team. If some guys decide they want to be fans later...anything the team does to make them want to be fans later is cool with me too.

I am with Sanders on this.  Eagles could go 0-16 and I would still be a fan.  Of course, if that should ever happen, Lurie has to take the plunge and appoint the blog as GMs (we’ll hire Sam Lynch to manage the cap.).

Either way. Did DP say this? This is telling me that Doug is retreating from reality to defend his strawman world. Not a good sign. Actually the Sanders twitter post is also very defensive as well. What are they defending? Carson's stats? 0-2-1?

He did. As did Sanders. As did Reagor. And that's kind of my point. I understand the frustration, but you don't have to get so defensive about it. It comes off as weak. Do what you have to do, do the work and leave it at that. Like I said before, no one is forcing Doug to do these either. Wednesday is the OC press conference. If he doesn't like the media, then let Press or Duce handle it. Simple.

I'm not. The team is 0-2-1. it should be obvious fans aren't going to be happy but that doesn't mean anyone is jumping ship or stop being a fan. Fans are not the cheerleaders, the cheerleaders are. Plus it comes off incredibly tone deaf that a second year player is going to lecture the fan base after 3 games when a lot of the fan base has had some really bad stretches, but remained fans.

It’s never, ever smart to go after the fans for their loyalty, even the dumb ones. The players can’t win that argument. STFU and play better.

I've never liked fans booing their own team after a couple bad plays. It's not a good way of showing your support.

I agree with this as well though.

I crunched the numbers. If we can manage to go 0-2-14 we could possibly win the division

14 ties. Eeek no thank you.

Yea. Gerry vs Kittle/Deebo means we are probably looking at 0-3-13

The most positive thing I can say is that the team is only one win from the division with 13 games left to play. The rest is this Gawdawful impression the team has left us with after 3 games. The opportunity to turn it around is there; just no evidence they are capable of it.

An arm facing the wrong direction is a little boo-boo. I don't want to see a big one

Kittle in space against Gerry & Edwards...

Gonna be a bloodbath.  Btw where is the 3rd round pick Taylor. Another 6th round project drafted way ahead his time.  I thought speed and coverage were his ammo

Didn't you hear Jim Schwartz?  He does good with quizzes in front of his teammates.

So Trevor Williams is slated to start...didn't practice.  Haven't heard a peep about Jamon Brown since they signed him either.

Unfortunately the Eagles bypassed interviewing a few qualified OCs in the offseason because Doug didn’t want one.  That’s looking like one of the biggest gaffes of the offseason.

I like that they added Sanders and Glute in there. Across the team we have everything from the waste down covered.

yeah.  but then Doug's ego would not let him really have  say in the offence.  and then the new guy would have been the scapegoat like Groh last year.  I actually am glad they did not hire a formal OC so the world can see what an overrated creator of plays Doug is. His offence basically went to shiz after Reich and DeFilippo left.

NFLPA President was saying how he thinks every NFL stadium should have grass instead of artificial turf.  Data shows injuries occur more on turf, especially lower body injuries.

Couldnt agree more.  Every stadium should have same playing field.

I guess no more dome teams.

I don't know what Doug wants.  I mean they hired someone from outside.  I think part of it was not wanting to promote Duce and part of it was not wanting to promote Press Taylor.  It could be that Doug wants one OC but Roseman didn't like his choice.  I mean Doug has had an OC the last 4 seasons.  This is the first year he's not had one and I don't think it was a power play for him.  I think it was because Howie didn't like his pick or they didn't want to risk losing Duce or Press Taylor.
