I'd personally take the direction of the risk to fire the HC, bring in a new more creative coach and staff and see what he does with Wentz. Then if that does not work you can move onto the 2nd/3rd year QB Hurts who is still dirt cheap contract.

He was a full participant in practice yesterday.  Should be a fun day for Nate.  I'm sure Shanahan already has 50 scripted plays exploiting a Kittle/Gerry 1 on 1 matchup.

Not sure why there’s such a discussion regarding Pederson/Reich.  It’s pretty clear the combination of Pederson/Reich/DeFilippo was the winning combination, and the current staff has not been able to re-create that formula — whoever was "most” responsible for it working doesn’t really matter at this point.
