His breakout week 3 was more outside than anything

I never thought he'd suck.  He's just the mold of every WR we draft who disappoints.  Reggie Wayne, Michael Thomas, and numerous other studs are in that mold too.  We needed to go in a different direction in the worst way possible.

Even more than that, we just didn’t need another possession type of guy. Ertz, Goedert, Ward, JJAW, Alshon. Even if you want to throw out the TEs, label JJAW a bust, and dismiss Alshon as washed up, it was still far less of a need than adding a vertical threat to the offense.

Hakeem Butler inactive. Yea he just got here, but when your down 4 out of 5 WRs maybe you should just give him a crash course and a handful of plays to learn instead of trying to convert him to TE and using him as George Kittle in practice while relying on Adrian Killins to play WR
