October 4, 20204 yr Going into a game with 6 WR/TEs and 5 RBs, and probably throwing 40+ times. This is ridiculous

Funny thing about NFL WRs... generally, the fastest WRs, aren't the most productive. I get why the Eagles went with Reagor over Jefferson, and Reagor's injuries just fit this team... but there was no way to foresee that going into the draft. But, I never doubted for a minute that Jefferson would be a highly productive WR in the NFL. Reagor looked good in his brief time, we just have to hope that the long game with Reagor plays out well for this team, because they did roll the dice going with Reagor over Jefferson. Reagor might have a higher ceiling, and he might be the player with the greater explosive play ability, but I don't know how anyone who couldn't see Jefferson as an extremely high floor player (possibly the highest floor WR in this draft). The biggest thing with Jefferson was people were saying he was mostly a slot WR and the Eagles needed someone to play outside. It's been 3-4 games but we'll see how all these guys play out.

I mean... 2016- Wentz 2017- no one? 2018- Goedert 2019- Sanders 2020- TBD Then the further back you go, you have Lane, Hicks, Cox, Ertz....we’ve been hitting on some talented players. I don’t think our roster lacks talent, it’s just not in sync.
October 4, 20204 yr What sense does it make to only use 52 of 53 roster spots and then only dress 4 WR. 6 minutes ago, LeanMeanGM said: Hakeem Butler inactive. Yea he just got here, but when your down 4 out of 5 WRs maybe you should just give him a crash course and a handful of plays to learn instead of trying to convert him to TE and using him as George Kittle in practice while relying on Adrian Killins to play WR Pretty sure they did that when they brought in DGB. Butler is 6-6, throw him a fade or 2.

Thats not what this congested offense needed to draft.

What I am saying is that in comparison, every other team in the league has rookies stepping up and playing good football. We have maybe one a year that turns into a good player. This roster is poor.

October 4, 20204 yr Gruden was always a name fans would throw around as a potential head coach. Glad it didn’t happen.
October 4, 20204 yr How about if JJAW can't catch a pass against Dallas' defense, he gets cut immediately after the game and Goodell bans him from the league for product detrimental to entertainment value?

October 4, 20204 yr I have no faith that this team will win, but I'm excited to see Mailata and the young receivers. My mood may change, but right now I feel the same as I would if this were a preseason game. 🤷♂️
