You said he's done nothing... So, I answered that.

The other?   Not worth arguing.  None of those guys are worthy of the time to discuss it.

Im excited to finally catch an eagles game without recording this season. Im moving on. But its hard to drag this big W along.

Yup.  He's been here 4 years and you found 3 marginal players to build your argument on.   Well played.   I've moved on.

The biggest thing with Jefferson was people were saying he was mostly a slot WR and the Eagles needed someone to play outside.

It's been 3-4 games but we'll see how all these guys play out.

Yup.  That's what some people said, I didn't believe he was purely a slot WR then still don't now.  But, I'm not upset about the Reagor pick... it made sense.   Jalen Hurts... that one really didn't.  Lots of players were taken after him that would help this team a ton right now.

Sign TO he can’t be worse than what we have

Super Bowl victory is nothing?   Yes, gave up a ton of points in the Super Bowl, and even more yards.  But, the defense carried the team in the Falcons game.   "Done nothing"?   Nah...  2017 - #4 scoring defense.  That's 'something'.   But, you revise history however you choose.  Schwartz isn't perfect, but that 2017 was magical, and I'll not downplay it because of current frustrations.

I think the bigger issue is schwartz’s defense is that it’s starting to become noticeable that 2017 was the outlier in terms of creating turnovers. Every year since then the Eagles have really bottom half in the league. 2016 top 10 with 26. 2017 top 4 with 31. 2018 bottom 10 with 17. 2019 bottom 1/3 of the league with 20. So far this year league worse with 0 (unless you consider the ST turnover then 31st)

2017 is when they had the best pass rush.  And had their best slot CB in this tenure.  That's a big part of it.

Cox is more beat up.  Graham is more beat up.  Chris Long is long gone.  Barnett has disappointed.  Jernigan has been hurt.  Jackson hurt.  So, the pass rush, which Schwartz absolutely relies desperately on hasn't been there.  That goes to development, drafting, roster management... the works.

Idk if anyone saw the raiders game agholor had a deep ball where he actually tracked it and caught it for a touchdown. It was called back due to a penalty but i was shocked to see him track it and pull it in.

Then he caught a nice TD in the 4th.

I mean it also helped he didn’t have garbage linebackers. Say what you bradham and kendricks were really good that year. They weren’t great but they are light years better than what we’ve seen out of the position in each passing year. This year i think they have a better all around pass rush then last year and even parts of 2018. I just don’t think they have playmakers besides slay on the back 7.

No surprise to me, I was the driver of the Justin Jefferson bandwagon.   Funny thing about NFL WRs... generally, the fastest WRs, aren't the most productive.  I get why the Eagles went with Reagor over Jefferson, and Reagor's injuries just fit this team... but there was no way to foresee that going into the draft.   But, I never doubted for a minute that Jefferson would be a highly productive WR in the NFL.  Reagor looked good in his brief time, we just have to hope that the long game with Reagor plays out well for this team, because they did roll the dice going with Reagor over Jefferson.  Reagor might have a higher ceiling, and he might be the player with the greater explosive play ability, but I don't know how anyone who couldn't see Jefferson as an extremely high floor player (possibly the highest floor WR in this draft).

Thought Jefferson and Jeudy were the most NFL ready WRs in the draft.  They are.

Agholor has exactly what he needs in LV - fresh start, no fans.

Yup... and Hicks too, until he got hurt.   To me, Bradham was a borderline Pro Bowler that year.

I thought ceedee lamb would be the best wide receiver in the draft class. It’s vastly helps him though to be playing in the slot. I think he’s such a mismatch for slot corners in this league. And then you add the fact they have Cooper and Zeke and even gqllup who’s not been great this year Is such an advantage to have him in the slot. Because he could be playing on the outside and be good

Almost forgot Mailata is starting at LT.

Yup... Jeudy was the only guy that could compete with Jefferson for the highest floor.   Very low risk picks.

He seems to play good when he doesn't have to be the guy. 2017 he was the third wheel and excelled. 2018 & 2019 he had to be more due to injuries and it got in his head. He's mentally weak but can be really good if the pressure isn't on him.

that might’ve been his best year of his career. he played like a pro bowl talent. he made a ton of big plays for them. It went from at least above average in the league to possibly one of the worst units of any unit in the league at linebacker

Eagles week 4 score prediction. Lots of picks for San Fran despite the Eagles could soar into division lead. We are only a couple WR, a couple olinemen, 4 Lb, 2 safeties and a outside corner away from being elite.

Predictably everyone on NBC picks the 49ers.

Wife walks in the room and asked what I was laughing so hard about.
