If we are going to be bad, I am OK with playing all the young players now. Find out if Mailata, Herbig, Pryor, Driscoll can play and improve by end of year.  Go with Youth, the old players cant seem to stay healthy, and face it next years cap we are gonna have to have whole sale changes anyway.

I’m ok with a draft of a bunch of olinemen. I was ok with taking one at 53 this year. Legitimately they could need a new center, LT depending on how Dillard comes back and plays, lane and brooks aren’t young anymore either. I’d be more than happy taking two olinemen early. However they really have to address DE as well. I’d also say corner.

It may be what is necessary, but it’s very disappointing.

Dillard, clearly, can play one position only.  If they go LT round 1, then they are already mailing it in on a first round pick.

If they draft an interior OL, then they are spending a high pick on a non-premium position with a delayed path to the starting lineup.  Although, Kelce may retire, opening up either C or LG.  But if they are drafting top 20 this year, is that what you want to go after?

Either way, as is typical with Howie, it’s a poor use of draft capital.

I just get a lot of bad karma vibes out of this organization these days.

It started a couple years ago with players ripping Wentz behind his back.

Doug telling his coaches they'll be back, then mandated by Lurie and Howie to fire them(per McLane).

Dispute with Peters then caving to his demands

Dispute with Ertz that got heated this past week

Drafting a backup QB in the 2nd round

Changing the medical staff like 3 times in the last few seasons

There's just been a lot of weird crap going on. Did that have a direct impact on today's loss? I don't know, but that's not even my point. It just feels like slowly an organization in 2017 that was known for being rock solid and incredible sturdy is starting to show gradual cracks in the foundation and maybe not coincidentally the team has been gradually regressing each year.

End of the Reid era had a bunch of internal squabbles. Feels like maybe the doug and howie point has some of that going on

frankly i believe the organization has been sniffing itself a little too much since that super bowl.

add doug to that list

Maybe, but I'm a little more tolerant with Doug seeing as he has guided teams 3 straight years into the postseason with numerous injuries along the way. I think Doug can coach a good roster, and I don't know yet that players have ever quit on him.

If the best available player is oline I’m thrilled. It’s not fancy or flashy but good oline is something we’ve been spoiled by and is something you can’t win without.

The skins are probably the third worst team in the nfl that’s how bad this is

Lol so many hoping off the wagon. I'll stay on. I still think Wentz can be great. He didn't trust this makeshift Oline. He had an off game. Doug and his numerous OCs didn't help at all

Then there's injuries. JC this team is cursed. Wouldn't surprise me if both Graham and Curry are out for weeks with some unknown injury that we'll never know the specifics of

off topic but I wonder what having no fans in the stadium does to a teams mental state. Sure you can pump in crowd noise but it's more than that.

Don’t disagree. He did not play well at all after the 17 point lead. Summer thinks that might be he was thinking about the pass rush instead of thinking about getting the ball out to receivers and getting the ball on the mark down the hill

That 1st INT just got a snowball rolling that never stopped. I thought we'd easily take a 20-0 lead into the half before that pick.

Wentz wasnt so awful on the first few drives when the offense was at its healthiest (today) and their playcalling wasnt predictable and stupid.

Doug didnt have the team prepared today,  Im starting to think there isnt some magical curse on the Eagles and maybe he just doesnt know what he's doing.  Im also thinking that Lurie might think that as well, hell they've done just about everything to show it.

You do realize 2 of the 3 years we made playoffs we had a crappy team in a crappy div and only made the playoffs out of pure luck of that bad div and some teams losing helping us out? Doug didnt really make them teams look that good.

They definitely have been. Their shtick with injuries is arrogant and tired at this point. Upper body and lower body, and then flat out lie to the media about the injuries. There's no competitive advantage to lying about a dude being seriously hurt. And when reporters call them out on it they get very defensive and hostile about it.

They never did this crap before the Super Bowl. It's like Doug thinks since the Super Bowl he's earned enough clout to morph into **** Belichick.

Alshon will be the best WR on the team if he comes back

Doug absolutely gets an F today.

Zero creativity on offense when he knows the DL is WAS strength.

No moving pockets, no misdirection, no end arounds etc.

Just drop backs and failed screens all day.

F.

We’ve got mega contracts at RT and RG, a contract extension of a 3rd round pick at LG, a first round trade up at LT, and several mid/late round talented developmental guys from each of the last few drafts.

The fact that the Eagles have no OL starters, no OL depth, AND need to address the OL early and often in April is not just bad injury luck, it’s also an indictment of Howie and, frankly, Stoutland.

With our oline I’d have been fine going into the half with a17-0 lead. I was more worried about a strip sack then a pick though. I thought if we had a good oline go for more points but really with that garbage be thrilled you go up 17 and get the ball back

The oline sucks it’s scrub  that’s why we lost it’s that simple. No point to analyze anything else.

I get that, but in those 2 seasons, they were on the outside looking in until late. The teams could have have just thrown in the towel, but they kept playing for him and got in. To me that counts for something.

I’m not even that upset with the o-line. Doug and Wentz hung them out to dry

It appears Pete Carroll finally realized Russell Wilson is a stud. I think they’re the best team in the NFC.

Should be our QB😢

I didnt see them keep playing hard, I saw the Cowboys and Vikings fall apart.

I wouldn’t say never. Before the end of the Reid era they had things like this occur. Definitely internal squabbles that got reported and power struggle and stuff of that natural.. the injury stuff no (where hide and not disclose injuries) but arrogant was there

Doug more so. No Te blocking or Chipping to hlp out. Refused to get a run game going even when your up 17-0 and kept doing his same out play calling that the redskins sniffed out with ease. Wentz was ducking for his life out there barely getting the ball off when he could. Wentz did not play well but Doug Hung both Wentz and his line out to dry.

Reid’s last season the team was littered with injuries. Foles and Bryce Brown ended up as starters.
