Cults are pretty fascinating

What does a record have to do with the performance of a wide receiver? Serious question.

Julio's had more losing seasons in Atlanta than winning seasons, I guess he stinks.

Did Megatron ever make the playoffs? guy obviously sucked.

Larry Fitz is gonna end up with double digit losing seasons. Dude shouldnt get a yellow jacket

It means his production is not helping them win.  I would have been very happy with him on the Eagles, but as good as he may be their goodness isn't producing victories.

Yeah.  We need to be smart enough to follow the medical information and separate that from the political misinformation.

A lot of people can't seem to do that. And are pretending the medical stuff is just more propaganda.

Funny thing is, none of those guys won a Super Bowl. They're all HOF bound, but I'd bet each of them would trade in the yellow jacket for a ring. It shows you shouldn't pay top dollar for a WR, and perhaps it's better to have a corps of good WRs instead of one mega stud.

That's really the bottom line. Isn't it.

Always.

O, and for the Steelers... For what it's worth the results of the steelers games dont tell the whole story. Steelers are a lot better then what those scores indicate.

You would know being a diehard Steelers fan.

It's a team game.  Vikings are top 10 in scoring but there defense cant stop anyone.

FAX

Then they need to score more.

I don't want to hear from anyone who is jumping on the Jefferson bandwagon now, because when I was beating the drum for him pre-draft, they were no where to be seen.  I was basically on an island saying that Jefferson wasn't a slot only WR.   The only ally I recall was BigEFly.  The rest were telling me how he was going to be terrible, slot only, etc.  So, as the driver of the bandwagon, even I am not mentioning him other than to say... yeah, he's showing pretty well right now and not as a slot WR only.

To be fair I'm an LSU fan and I wanted him as well. I still like the Reagor pick, but surprisingly to no one he's the worst taken (so far).

Funny thing is, we're not comparing superbowls, not comparing Hall of Fames. Comparing Justin Jefferson, who is light years better then Reagor.

But because Jefferson is on a losing team he isnt worth it? lol or we made the correct pick ?

Nobody is saying that you moron.

Barnett playing well all of a sudden puts the Eagles in an interesting situation with him. I believe his 5th year option next season will be worth about $10mil?

I think the best bet would be attempt to sign him to a 3 year extension ASAP. The main reason to do this is the Eagles will be in no place to invest in a FA D-end due to the cap situation and any high draft pick will more than likely need to be invested in WR. I also don’t think we have any D-ends (outside Toohill) signed for 2022.

I think trying to get Barnett extended on a modest 3 year deal this year is the best bet. However, if he continues to get 1-2 sacks a game then he’ll be desiring more.

I’ve been a critic of Barnett since he was drafted but he’s actually looking like a stellar round 1 pick and resources are limited at a premiere position.

He's "light years" better, bro.

I wouldn't trade a 1st for Julio

Me either. He has a very strange career, in that he has a huge amount of catches and yards, but his TD's just don't match up. I think he's only been above 10 TDs twice, and usually he hovers around 4-5. It's just so odd...

Before the rumor gets out of hand (I blame Russian trolls), BigEFly was not in Salt Lake City last night nor were any of his relatives and would social distance, if he were, from Mike Pence’s hair.   Any similarities to BigEFly are purely coincidental.  To most folks, we all look alike.

Who on the Eagles has good production but that production doesn't help them win?  I can't think of a player right now off the top of my head.  I would say Miles Sanders but we need those ground yards to move the chains.  He hasn't scored yet or made any really big game changing plays.  The only problem is if Miles isn't in the game we have trash at RB.

He's also 31 and has been dealing with injuries

I wouldn't call him the worst taken.  I'd call him the least productive, which is different.

Surprised by the coverage for this game. We're red

I understand what your point is but it's hard to call him the worst taken.  It isn't a JJAW scenario where he just can't produce.  He's just had unfortunate injuries so far.  Does that make him the worst?  If someone else drafted him he might not have hurt himself and he could be producing explosive plays and we could be saying should have drafted Reagor.

I'm excited to see him get healthy and come back.  The Eagles are just truly snakebitten when it comes to injuries.

Hate to admit it but the Steelers have a huge national fan base.

Not from a talent perspective, but if he's the least productive that would mean he's the worst.

Lamb, Jeudy, Jefferson, Aiyuk have all done more/considerably more. I also know he's hurt.

Ruggs hasn't...so I guess there's that.

Having a huge fanbase doesn't always mean you'll get a lot of coverage

You are using a short term measurement to make a long term assessment.  He's the least productive because he's been on the field the least, not due to his ability, but due to injury.   So, he gets an "Incomplete" grade, nothing else.

What is the formula then?  Not being a smarta$$.  How do they determine what games to make national.  The Steelers IMO are a national draw so  I would think that comes in to play.  I'd like to think the Eagles are too but we saw how small the coverage was for the Bengals game...then again that was the Bengals and it was CBS if I'm not mistaken. CBS will always be a bigger AFC game.
