To that I think looking back on that great 91 defense is even more impressive as the O was the worst in the league, they couldn't run or pass and we're constantly turning the ball over.

On flip side looking at billy davis Defenses the offense did the defense zero favors as the offense either scored in 30 seconds or punted in 30 seconds leaving the defense to play way to many snaps. Worked great first year when eagles led league in turnover margin but once the turnovers dried up the defense was on field too long giving up too many points.

That 91 defense was special and that team with zero offense still won 10 games, randall doesn't get hurt they're at worst in nfccg against Wash.

This defense has beat up weak offenses and given up points everytime a team gets in the red zone an until week 4 had generated zero turnovers😒

I swear the guy literally runs in circles on the field. He a sucker for play action.

Which would not be as terrible if he could actually tackle.

Keep politics in CVON unless specifically related to NFL issues (COVID, national anthem kneeling, etc).

wasnt me

Alshon is back at practice but already out because of illness.  He's going to miss 5 games at the least.  Should have kept him on PUP and used that spot on another player.

I have no independent recollection of talking about politics in the blog.

Zach Wilson doesn't get the love ,Lawrence, Fields, lance etc get...but imo he will be the steal of the QB position and a real good NFL QB. He would be my favorite draft eligible QB

Love his game ,he can do it all , granted , it doesn't hurt playing behind college footballs best OL.

It’s pretty shocking that this franchise would misread an injury timeline.

Is this serious?

If he does not play by week 6, then Howie lost our third string TE or a back up CB for no reason.  Appears it was a blunder move.

Why the question?  He's missed 4 games and is on his way to not playing this week.  That's 5 games.  Had he stayed on PUP he would be required to miss 6 games.  So taking him off PUP might get him a game next week but it ate up a roster spot that could have been used for a player who could actually dress and play on Sundays.

Even if he plays week 6.  Is that 1 game worth the 3rd tight end or possibly still having Rasul Douglas?  Not that he would be used here the right way but he would certainly help.

Clearly he will be back in on Sunday to make a key 3rd down drop.

Sounds like a solid 2nd round pick for the Eagles.  Can he run?

I thought you meant 5 more games. That said I'm not sure what the heck goes on with the Eagles and injuries, seems like we (the team) never knows what's going on for sure

Unless he gets put on the COVID list, illness doesn't mean anything. They have to report everything everyday, even if its just a headache or runny nose.

No, sorry if confusion there.  I wouldn't be shocked if he DID miss 5 more games however.

They do have some questions to answer at WR now however.

You have Watkins, Jeffrey, JJAW and DJack apparently all getting healthy at the same time.  Reagor will be sooner than later.  The Philly media sure is hyping up Fulgham a lot after Sunday night.  Do they dare cut the guy who caught the game winning pass so JJAW can dress again?  Hightower isn't going anywhere.  Was Burnett a PS call up or did they sign him to the roster?

Who's the odd man or men out?

Alshon

DJack

JJAW

Ward

Hightower

Watkins

Fulgham

Reagor

Burnett

I feel bad for people who have seasonal allergies. Those daily check ins bug me, they are so poorly worded for literal thinkers. If I were to report honestly I would be deemed unfit for work every single day.

"do you have a headache that is not from an underlying existing condition?" Yes actually... although it might have something to do with the fact that I am behind an effing screen all day!

The 2020 NFC East might be the worst division in NFL history.

Do you have a fever after working in the 100 degree sun?

I dont know... you dont have to look back very far to find awful divisions. I remember the NFC west was simply awful not that long ago.

Here you go (from 2010)

Considering his severe injuries have been to his neck and low back, I wouldn’t be surprised if he called it a career if he does miss the rest of the season.
