My Nephew when he was in high school in Hawaii would use the N word with the a a lot and because there's not a lot of black people in Hawaii got away with it and really didn't think anything of it. That’s what my point was. They have heard it used more commonly in their daily vernacular and it’s become a word to them that’s grown multiple meanings. Not that i think that’s acceptable i just know generationally they are more prone to using it in daily convos and not as a intent to be derogatory

Not defending him for what he said...why would you ever tweet that?  However, the way he used the word sounds like a kid who is trying to fit in and using slang.  Let's be honest, the way that word is used (when you don't use a hard R) is dropped left and right in rap music that is played all throughout locker rooms.  It's a culture thing.  I've heard black guys refer to white people as that word, it almost just means people to some.  

Riley Cooper used it in a racist way.  He wanted to fight every last you know what.  Gerry was a young kid trying to fit in using a slang term.  

Our beloved 2017 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles embraced the song Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill (why he has hero status is beyond me).  Let's take a look at the lyrics of the song.  The song that was blasted through Lincoln Financial Field speakers, played in the locker room and then at the Super Bowl. 

For the record, I love rap, grew up listening to it and thought the hype that this song brought to the team was special.  Just want to show that it's just silly if anyone gets offended anymore by this sort of thing.  Most rap lyrics are pure trash, this song included.  Took quite some time to edit.  If you're counting at home I replaced the N word with Sucka which is used 24 times.

Lol. No i do. I just wanted to say that. Cause it’s noticeable watching the all 22. Frankly I’m irritated we don’t get him more touches. If we aren’t planning on giving him a second contract or even if we have an out in the second Contract after a year or two then use him as true workhorse. I feel like he can exploit in the passing game even more and we aren’t doing it enough.

I think the forfeit hurts the titans tbh. They have a shot against the bills. And they play in a weaker division where they could rack up wins and potentially be playing for seed 2-4. They forfeit much harder to go through something like ravens then chiefs without a home game. 

Was Nick Foles allowed to join in?  Did Jeff Lurie sing along?

Clement has been kept alive here because of the Super Bowl game. It’s insane how long he has lasted here given his lack of production and health issues since then. Similar to Alshon, Sproles, and Peters, they fell trap with refusing to move on from guys who contributed that season. 

Hard to believe, but in 7 days, it's 6 months since Dave announced that the old EMB was closing. I only realized this because I got a notification that the boards software license renews in 7 days.

The rap culture proliferated the use of the word.  Not that it wasn’t used beforehand in the black community but the commercialization of the word in my mind made the use by folks with racist intent feel like, if someone else can use the word, then they can as well. But there are also those that use it because they heard it used by blacks. Remember the PSU QB for the Panthers that used it like he thought was okay from his exposure to it in the rap arena?

Part of the issue for sure. Some of this is clement doesn’t look good even when there’s the rare holes. He doesn’t age. The same look as he did as a rookie. I think injuries have hurt him as much as the OG issues
