The Eagles are currently 4th in pass-block win rate. There are tons of terrible OL in the league. Due to the injuries this year, we're going to have very good depth moving forward with all the young guys playing.

If we can declare Reagor the worst WR drafted in the first round after 2 games then we can certainly annoint Mailata as a savior after one.

We had a big hole at LT and Dillard was a clear-cut BPA. It was an easy decision. Dillard looked fine in the clips we could see in training camp and played "ok" in limited snaps last year at LT.

But if Mailata is better, so be it.

Mailata is a perfect cap-friendly guy to have on the roster if he plays well at LT this season.  He’s signed through next season at less than $1M, won’t be expensive to re-sign, and would be an ideal swing tackle to have if both Johnson and Dillard are healthy starters next season.

Incredible how much better our OL has gotten since the opener. Play-calling and design are part of it but great coaching is the crux. Think of it as the pre-season now being over.
