A chance for Doug to show that he’s learned from his folly of Week 1.  Counteract a strong opposition pass rush by using quick, high-percentage throws and commit to the run game.  Take pressure off the QB.

Maybe it’s the booze talking but I’m starting to doubt this Steelers team. Small sample size but they haven’t won games by more than a TD against teams that are collectively 1-11. Their pass rush is legit but I don’t think the team as a whole are as dominant as most people are making them out to be.

Spot on bud. Man for man the Steelers have more talent that is but they haven't blown me away this year. They are better than us but I don't think they are this fantastic team right now. They might improve as the year goes by but right now they are beatable.

A few notes heading into the Steelers game...

-- This seems like a great matchup for the Eagles DL. Steelers OL isn't great. Also, Ben isn't elusive, and all 4 of the Eagles main rushers (Graham, Cox, Jackson, and Barnett) are strong enough to get him on the ground.

-- Speaking of the Eagles pass rush, I hope we see more Barnett/Avery out of a 2-point stance. Last week, Barnett was giving me major Chris Long vibes, which is fine since I've long given up on him being a true top-end pass rusher. Playing Avery without a plan is about as useless as putting JJAW on the field with Carson.

-- Chemistry is huge with Carson. More Travis Fulgham, obviously way less JJAW. Hope Quez is active and gets a deep ball.

-- As the other poster wrote above, this game is a test to see how much Doug has learned from week 1 when he had an undermanned OL going against a stud pass rush. Hope he learned his lesson.

-- Wild card prediction: This is the week we get the Greg Ward pass.

-- Score prediction: Eagles 23, Steelers 20. Either Slay or Malik Jackson force a turnover and give Wentz a short field leading to one of the 2 TDs. Wentz takes good enough care of the ball and has about 2 good drives. Eagles take an ugly game.

Their OL is pretty good actually... Their RT is where we can get after them but their OL is good. But I think SF OL is pretty decent and we dominated them so I think our DL can take over in this one too.

There are so many impressive college players on offense.  I saw more catches made last night once again that would be better than any catch an Eagles WR has made over the last 3 years.  I don't understand how this team continually misses out on talent.

It’s a special skill being that inept.

Please tag me with score prediction so I don't miss them

Guys a bad storm is coming here on the Eastcoast.   I don't know if it will rain but if it does....we're going to need that running game. So Let's Go Miles, Boston and Corey.   As for the Battle of Pennsylvania.   Look, we match up well with them historically.  I don't know why but we seem to have their number.  Steelers are also coming off a weird Bye week.

Big Ben is a seasoned vet and still savvy enough to make a few big plays per game while limiting mistakes. Conner is talented in his own right and could present a problem catching balls out of the backfield. Juju should be contained by Slay but I haven't watched enough of their offense this year to know if they move him around enough in search of a mismatch. Claypool is young, but his size might be an issue against our corners. And if there's ever a defense that can make Ebron fantasy owners overjoyed, it's ours.

On the other side of the ball, I don't see too many weaknesses we can exploit, to be honest. They lack speed at corner but I'm not sure who we have available to exploit that. Maybe desean for a total of 3 plays before he inevitably limps off the field, but after that?

I think rain can actually help us. I feel like it plays into our advantage slightly if it turns into a slugfest on the ground. Bring on the monsoon!

Still can't get over why the team keeps DJax around for this much time, knowing full well that he can only contribute a few plays a game, if that much.

If we’re shadowing a WR I hope it’s Johnson. He runs the routes that would really hurt us (more vertical, higher target share). JuJu is a really good slot, but I’m fine taking my chances with LeBlanc.

I could be wrong, but I doubt we'll see Slay shadow Johnson all that much. And yeah I don't mind if we see LeBlanc on juju as needed either, I like him and I feel like he continues to fly under the radar as an underrated cb.

He's out, so we need 3 plays from someone else lol.

His excuse for going away from Sanders is he's been fatigued.

So far Boston Scott is averaging 3.3 yards per carry this season; Corey Clement 2.7

I'm getting fatigued of those guys doing nothing.

Patriots Broncos postponed again, now to next week. They need to start forcing teams to forfeit games if they can't keep their players from violating protocols.

Wentz can’t hit those.

Have you seen evidence that they are?

We have the worst passing offense in the NFL.  A storm can only bring everyone else closer to our level.

How nice it would be to lean on the running game in this situation. I wouldn't be surprised if we have 55 called passing plays today.

Looking at the forecast for Pittsburgh it doesn't look like it's supposed to rain much, at least according to Accuweather. Not sure what the local forecasts are showing.
