If the Refs didn't gift the Steelers a TD with madeup PI calls the Eagles would be controlling the game

Refs gifted Pitt 7 points. We’ve made some really dumb, situationally stupid mistakes. Pittsburgh is not out of our class in terms of talent, this game is winnable.

 

O line playing well I thought. Singleton looks good at LB.

Hightower is a 5th rd rookie. Rookies struggle. Seems like the eagles rookie wr struggle more then any other team

The Steelers are having trouble tracking Hightower on deep routes, but he's not caught one yet.

Hightower is getting open deep. That’s good news. He isn’t finishing the play but he’s a late round rookie. Give him time.

There's been plenty to kill Carson over this year.  Not going to do it for this play.  There was likely nowhere else to go.

He’s got some Shelton Gibson to him.  Good speed, gets open, does pretty much everything else wrong.

Agreed. He's getting open. Needs to start finishing a few of these plays. I love the effort him laying out on that deep ball. If Wentz wasn't getting hit while he threw it that could've been a big play/possibly a td. That last drive should've been a td. Right through his arms. Finish plays!

Yeah, at least he can get open. Let him learn. 

The D needs to make some adjustments.  Stillers will keep killing us with those underneath crossing routes and slants with our DBs playing so off.

O has looked better, but still making some mistakes, which they can't afford if they have to keep putting up points if our D can't get stops and keeps letting up too many 3rd downs.  Fulgham is a pleasant surprise.  We have a young WR that can make plays.  I've been watching Mailata and seems he's doing OK on handling the pass rush, except when he runs the DE out wide then the DE cuts back to the inside.  Once he locks that down then he'll be really tough for any DE to beat.
