Bringing Jackson back was a mistake. Giving Alshon that emotional contract was a mistake

Still employing Jim Schwartz is a mistake as well.

Broadcast was terrible

alshon was more of the fact you restructure his contract when you shouldn’t have done that. You’d have been able to move on from him if you didn’t do that. Add on you drafted JJaw who I imagine they thought was his likely replacement in the 2019 draft. Only thing i could think of is they saw JJAW up close and realize he wasn’t going to be good enough and felt alshon was still needed.

The desean thing they never should’ve brought him back in the first place. He was 33 and couldn’t stay healthy. Add on he’s been a pain in the a** everywhere he’s gone and people wanted him out of the building by the time he got to the end. Andy Reid considered trading him when he was still here.

Just saw this tweet now

I wanted CGJ, or whatever stupid name he goes by now, badly and was mad the Eagles passed on him, but it was the right call

I was there, it looked like he had the shoulder pad to me and the ref that threw the flag was 30 yards away downfield...the refs today on both sides were terrible

Great what good is the third or fourth wide receiver spot if you don’t have a one or two wide receiver spot. That was the issue. Which goes back again the plan of relying on DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery was stupid. And only adding goodwin and rookies wasn’t sufficient Answer to the problem you had. Hence why people wanted Robby Anderson.

The money/cap wasn't there to match (or guarantee Anderson 12 mil).  That's what it came down to.

And I don't want to get into this again but how good is Anderson with Wentz?   Be honest.

Idk Thomas has turned into a diva and a dbag over the past couple years. Not defending CGJ cause he probably did something stupid. But it’s not like Thomas has been a good teammate. I believe he also had issues with Brandin cooks

They both are a-holes with an a-hole coach

I would have had no issue bringing Desean back as a free agent. I never liked the trade though. Who trades for a 32-year-old WR with an injury history, gives him an extension and then tries to make him a centerpiece of the offense? I don't see other teams around the league doing that.

Went to the game today, obviously other than losing the game is was an enjoyable experience, felt way more personal with the small crowd, I was right behind the eagles bench and I had multiple players acknowledge me, as for the game...this team can never just get it all together, offense played good enough against a legit defense and the defense (Schwartz) absolutely blow, this team is where it is the last few years because of coaching

How are the prices of the seats because of COVID?

They've been terrible. It's like a flip of the coin whether they show you replays nowadays. They also go to commercials waaayyyyy too much now

Not surprised. That team is ugh

Someone reported a couple weeks ago that the NFL was looking into changing the rules before the playoffs so where teams would be seeded by record. So, division winners aren't automatically handed a home playoff game.

I didn't know that was allowed to happen midseason, but if it is, good, it needs to happen. Anyone from this abomination of a division does not deserve to host a single playoff game.

Eagles should be sellers. They aren’t good.

The trade was next to nothing. The extension and making him the centerpiece were the mistakes

that’s not what it came down to. The Eagles had cap space to match that. End it was below market value contract especially considering what William’s got the previous off-season. They didn’t wanna do it because they had poor investments in desean and alshon they couldn’t get out of. That’s what it comes down to. If those two werent on the team on their contracts they likely make a move there.

still don’t wanna admit the fact Robbie Anderson is good enough to succeed even with wentz’s issues. Sam darnold is 1000000 times worse than wentz And he still was productive with Adam Fing Gase as HC.  with wentz he likely makes that catch Hightower drops in the end zone.

This is cool

I'd rather have kept the 6th round pick, especially in a year where you only ended up making 5 picks in the draft. But that's neither here nor there at this point.

At this point I will (without question) admit Robby Anderson would have been a GREAT signing.

The 49ers are going to change QBs this off-season. Jimmy G's dead cap in 2021 is very low.

It was a desperation move for the eagles. They thought he was a better player than anyone on the market that year (i believe brown was a FA that year).  Relying on a guy who’s not reliable Health wise and older was a bad decision regardless of FA or trade.
