I know, I'm trying to be patient.  However it's hard to when you see guys all over the league making plays.  I've gotta stop beating the dead horse and just face the reality that the Eagles just suck at evaluating and drafting WR.

Also, I still think the money spent on Hargrave and NRC would have been better if it had gone to Robby Anderson who had another big day for Carolina.

Not signing Anderson was a big mistake.

Imagine Anderson and Jefferson on this roster right now.

That's just a step too far. Hightower and Watkins were obvious dart throws. Reagor was the big move; Goodwin was the complementary deep threat. It took Goodwin opting out, a Reagor injury, a DeSean injury, and JJAW continuing to suck for Hightower to see the field.

Hightower was their second largest investment in a wr.  He was sold as the new infusion of speed and talent.

He WAS a dart throw, but he was not sold as one or relied on accordingly.

could be kinda like having Reagor and Fulgham.

Ah, come on, Goodwin was obviously the bigger move for year 1.

If by kinda you mean the exact opposite, then yes.

Bell liked a tweet saying to trade him lol

Didn't he pick Jets because they paid the most? Not many teams will give up picks and have to take on an expensive contract

You are mistaken. That is u making a claim without ALL the evidence. Who's to say that if this team actually had eyes for talent, heart, etc. Maybe this is the WR squad that should be on the field. Instead of GM's and coaches playing favorites.

The Jefferson/Reagor comparisons aren't fair considering Reagor at least looked solid before going down. You can't JJAW/Metcalf that decision yet. But you sure as hell can do that with Hurts vs. Jeremy Chinn, who has been balling out for Carolina. They went with a gadget guy who comes into the game a couple times a week vs. a safety who could have been an immediate contributor in a struggling defense.

Goodwin was acquired for the value of a late 7th round pick.

Send Cox and Ertz to Seattle

So next week book Duverney in for having a good game.

Maybe I didn't pay close enough attention but I didn't view it as him running free that much.  The drop just adds to why I don't think Hightower is going to amount to much.  I would LOVE to be wrong.

Not to keep those negative vibes going...

And it just gets worse, can't even make it up. At the end of this year, Howie can not be in charge of steering this ship any longer and Schwartz has to just go and Doug needs to be forced a real offensive coordinator.

You're dead set on killing Howie for this, so go ahead. Goodwin was the most obvious 1 year rental you could have hence the low pick value.

They'll absolutely murder this team with end arounds off the edge like we've seen all season long. Hollywood Brown will probably rip one off for 60 plus.

Of course they aren’t fair.  It’s early and Reagor hasn’t had much of a shot.  But it doesn’t make it any less frustrating that once again rookie WRs are balling out and our guy is on IR.

You don’t want to kill Howie for butchering the WR position 3 years in a row?  Everyone should be dead set on it.  Or are you in the "it was bad luck” crowd?

honestly i don't know how gerry looks his teamates in the face every week and not say i don't belong on the field with you. schwartz should be fired tonite and i would bring wade phillips in.

Gerry is horrible, but that was on Schwartz, not Gerry, for the Claypool TD.

I would have Stout pull double duty as OL coach and interim DC

Yep, the Ravens are going to run that end around action a lot or do fakes off of it. And, knowing how Schwartz doesn't make adjustments, expect those plays to work a lot.

It worked so well with Juan Castillo.

Fulgham was actually putting in effort to reach for the ball even if it was thrown high. Loved it.

When a receiver will fight for the ball and catch it then they will get thrown to more

My objection is with you framing the Hightower pick as the 2nd most important WR move for 2020 when it was Goodwin, who opted out. Hightower and Watkins were meant to be 5th/6th WRs the whole time.

Obviously the WR situation is a mess, but going after the Hightower pick is just reaching for something to complain about.
