I just watched the full sequence of the Dak injury and I feel sick for him. I hate the Cowboys but I never want to see a player get hurt like that. Dak seems like a cool dude and I hope he gets well soon.

Fulgham was actually putting in effort to reach for the ball even if it was thrown high. Loved it.

When a receiver will fight for the ball and catch it then they will get thrown to more

The sad thing is I think the Eagles will make decisions based on politics/money and when Alshon and DJax return, they will put Fulgham on the bench. They need to start phasing DJax and Alshon out. They clearly aren't the answer going forward.  They need to put Fulgham out there until either he shows that this was a fluke or he shows that he is the real deal. But, you have to let this kid play to see what you have.

If Wentz was throwing to Fulgham in the Wash game, then I don't think he would have had those two interceptions.

honestly i don't know how gerry looks his teamates in the face every week and not say i don't belong on the field with you. schwartz should be fired tonite and i would bring wade phillips in.

My objection is with you framing the Hightower pick as the 2nd most important WR move for 2020 when it was Goodwin, who opted out. Hightower and Watkins were meant to be 5th/6th WRs the whole time.

Obviously the WR situation is a mess, but going after the Hightower pick is just reaching for something to complain about.

I didn’t go after it.

Again, Hightower was a 5th round pick.  Goodwin was acquired for less than the value of a 7.

Knew it was going to happen after todays game lol

Can someone explain to me how Nate Gerry was ever at one time a safety?

A little bit overdue.  After that SB choke and the slow start to last season, I would've pulled the plug at the end of last season.

He means Schwartz.

And a pretty good one too!

Alshon and Djax have phased themselves out; the coaches dont even need to worry about that.

Im not really on the Fulgham bandwagon, despite how impressive his accomplishments have been in the last 2 weeks.  His production has a lot of Jordan Matthews flavor to it...good sized, non explosive WR getting the ball forced his way because there is no one else.

He did a really nice job finding the soft spot in a zone and also really goes after the football, which is going to pad his stats in this offense when we have no one else to target.

But yes...keep it going.  It’s not like anyone else is even in the conversation as an alternative.

Speaking of McLeod, he's been very good.

After that garbage Falcons team ran a 4 minute offense down 3 possessions at the end of the Packers game, everyone needed to go. One of the most flaccid performances I've ever seen in the NFL.

Fulgham looks more sudden than Jordan Matthews. Matthews looked like a tight end at times, not very smooth as a WR.  Fulgham has a little Michael Thomas style to his game. Michael Thomas isn't a burner, but he knows how to run routes and find spaces in zones.  I'm not saying Fulgham will be as good as Michael Thomas, but his style of play is similar.

Fulgham is for real, now that doesn't mean he's a #1, Wentz should have looked elsewhere when he saw Haden on him.

But he's certainly shown enough for serious consideration as the #2, size, good routes, very good hands and body control.

And Ward is a solid slot receiver.

Just need to get Reagor healthy.

Learning point for Howie:

In 2000, it was great to lock up players as early as possible.

Injuries are out of control.  9 times out of 10, maybe more, players will be cheaper to extend if you want until their contract is expiring.

We’ve got so many bad contracts that were extensions of players who had more than a year left.

They dodged a bullet not extending Ertz for something absurd like $12m per.  He’ll be worth $5m by the time he plays out this contract.

I might hire Dimitrov...

He's shown better hands than jordan ever did especially around contact and he's shown the ability to go up and get a pass something jordan rarely did.

I'm not ready to crown fulgham but I also don't see the jordam matthews comparison.

Can we cut Gerry and move on from Schwartz? Also, any updates on Slay’s injury?

I haven't seen anything. I hope it's nothing serious. He's quickly becoming a favorite

Ward is terrible.  He gets credit because Eagles fans have forgotten what it looks like to see someone run a route and catch a football.  He’s a waste of targets at a whopping sub 8 yards per catch.  He’s entering handoff territory.

They are only similar in their lack of explosive separation and in their increased target share due to being in a lousy offense.

At this point(again) we're just happy he catches the ball when it's thrown to him

Metcalf is Megatron light.
