Having a bourbon nightcap and coughed while sipping so it came out my nose. How’s everyone else’s Sunday night?

Singleton 18 here. Pretty solid.

Honestly don’t really need WRs. I like deebo Samuel and aiyuk. Their issue is their QB play stinks and their oline has been bad the last two weeks.

Anybody can’t rant and rave and respond to made up arguments nobody made. Be better than that or you’re just another TATE hack. Or don’t, and be a joke to everybody, your call.

Anyone who continues to defend Howie at this point is a contrarian who's not to be taken seriously. That's how bad it gets every week. He's Fing terrible. Metcalf is the best damn WR in the freaking league. And we took the worst WR in NFL history instead.

F this dude. Fire his a**.

Andy took Freddy over some good WR that year too. I agree that Howie needs to go. Won't happen though. They will be in the playoff hunt in the dumpster fire of a division and Schwartz or someone else will take the fall for him. I'd love to see them both go, but that is another discussion.

He got turnstyled by Dupree on the last drive.  Little early to call him legit yet.

One snap of an entire game against a pretty good DL, yea I'll go ahead and chalk that up as a win for a guy in his second start ever. He wasn't perfect but he was pretty damn good

Pathetic.

Some thoughts...

-- Start Jordan Mailata at LT for at least the rest of 2020. He jumped into the shark tank and survived; in 2020, he's better than Jason Peters.

-- Travis Fulgham is for real. Does he have character issues or something? That was the most dominant regular season Eagles receiving performance I can recall in years.

-- Cut JJAW. Fulgham is what they hoped in their wet dreams that JJAW would be. JJAW has no purpose on this team.

-- I refuse to believe Nate Gerry and Duke Riley are better than Alex Singleton.

-- The Eagles still need a power RB. One of the biggest needs on the team and the easiest to fix by far. Decent power RBs basically grow on trees in the NFL; find one for F sake.

What can be said about Fulgham’s implosion? It was the first 10-catch, 150-yard performance by an Eagles WR since 2014, when Jeremy Maclinhad 162 on 12 against the Cardinals. In fact, only seven Eagles WRs since 1970 have ever posted such a day: Maclin (twice), DeSean Jackson, Terrell Owens, Harold Carmichael, Fred Barnett, James Thrash (!), and Kevin Curtis (!!).

he is in the likes of such greatness..... James thrash lol.

Hard to disagree with any of this.  Schwartz got taken to the woodshed again today by the Steelers OC.  His biggest problem might be terrible talent evaluation; it’s aggravating to think back to before the season, when the Eagles were telling fans how good their LB were going to be.  What he sees in Gerry and Mills I’ll never know.  Both of those guys are going to have a long day against the Ravens — as will the Eagles team as a result.

I just wonder if Schwartz plans to match Gerry up against Mark Andrews in pass coverage, or assign him to tackle Lamar Jackson in the open field.  Either way it figures to be bad.

Scariest part for me is the Steelers offense isn’t all that good and they put up 38 points.  The Ravens offense is a actually a lot better.  Eagles defense usually shows up better at home, but BAL might go over 40 points next week.

I don’t know if it’s actually a power back they just need, but better talent behind Miles Sanders. Clement looks useless when he’s back there. He isn’t The same player from 2017 anymore. Boston Scott has been bad for most of the year. He’s better as a third down back. The fact that they only have Miles Sanders and nobody else that’s any good right now is a problem. Frankly I would like to see Holyfield or warren or somebody else because Clement and Scott aren’t cutting it right now

also in fairness the Eagles running game outside of that 74-yard Sanders run over the last two weeks has not been good. With that sanders run, the RBs have rushed 30 times with running backs 121 yards. Take away that run it’s 29 rushes for 47 yards which is 1.6 yards per carry.

I feel like Lately every time the giants take an offensive lineman in the top 10 they seem to always fail.

i give them credit for snagging slayton. I loved him coming out. He and diontae Johnson were the two i loved as mid to late round sleepers. Unfortunately Johnson can’t stay healthy but when he has been he’s been good.

And to think he went shortly after Thorton in the draft.

Quinn runs 3-4 schemes. We don't have personnel to run a 3-4. You need good LBs to run that scheme and we have the worst LBs. Also, you need larger DEs, which we don't have.

But aside from that, it’s a great fit!

I’ve been saying for a year...and there’s nothing to prove me right here...the DB failures are a coaching problem, while the WR failures are a drafting problem.

Jones and Douglas speak to that.  Our garbage WRs do nothing and no one wants them after we move on.

And yet you consistently babble about how we have a "bad" quarterback.

The Jefferson/Reagor comparisons aren't fair considering Reagor at least looked solid before going down. You can't JJAW/Metcalf that decision yet. But you sure as hell can do that with Hurts vs. Jeremy Chinn, who has been balling out for Carolina. They went with a gadget guy who comes into the game a couple times a week vs. a safety who could have been an immediate contributor in a struggling defense.

I would add that he comes in and it isn't necessary that he does so.

Yeah I mean... This is nowhere near the way that the Saints use Hill! It's like they sprinkle him in there for a play or two a game but there's no misdirection really. Yesterday he came in, week 5 and threw his first pass.

Alshon and Djax have phased themselves out; the coaches dont even need to worry about that.

Im not really on the Fulgham bandwagon, despite how impressive his accomplishments have been in the last 2 weeks.  His production has a lot of Jordan Matthews flavor to it...good sized, non explosive WR getting the ball forced his way because there is no one else.

He did a really nice job finding the soft spot in a zone and also really goes after the football, which is going to pad his stats in this offense when we have no one else to target.

But yes...keep it going.  It’s not like anyone else is even in the conversation as an alternative.

And yet no one else other than maybe Ward has been able to step up when the ball is "forced to them". This is a horse crap argument. Is Fulgham the answer? Who knows, but let's not use the ole "forced to him" argument.

It seems to me like a classic negative view we are seeing. It seems either things have to be all positive or all negative and there can't be any in between. Right now this team is bad, this season is going down the drain fast BUT there are absolutely positives. Fulgham the last 2 weeks should give us hope. Sanders has, for the most part, played well and made plays. Mailata has been up and down at LT but has been better than we could have hoped for. Herbig has settled down and Driscoll looks like a decent prospect. Reagor flashed early and should give us hope that the WR situation for the future has potential.

I thought the RB from Cincinnati was a power back.

Question to the board:  on the final.Claypool TD, both Gerry and McLeod are aware of the issue, why don't they call the TO?
