Wow, I need to drink your positive smoothies too.  I think Carson is more than good enough to win us a Super Bowl if we have a decent defense and enough pieces on offense.  So you are either declaring that you see Howie or whoever does it next, to have 2 spectacular drafts in a row or, Carson being good enough to literally carry a team through a season, playoffs and Super Bowl (that includes being healthy obviously).  I don't see the second scenario ever happening but I hope it does.  I would eat all the crow in the world and be elated.

No, Brady and Breeze are pretty much done.  They were elite in their prime.  Put Wilson on this current team and we are a deep playoff contender this year.

He played elite football in 2017.  Last year he also became the first Eagles QB to throw for 4000 yards with his #1 playing 1 game, his #2 playing 10 games, Agholor being a mental midget and Greg Ward being the best WR he had.

So you're saying there is only 1 elite quarterback? Brady in his prime would not get this team, this year, to the Super Bowl. Wilson might have a chance because he's used to running for his life but I still doubt it.

If he doesn't make the decisions whether or not rookies are playing who does?

Unless he's just answering about the contracts then interesting that he says he has  no say in who he wants who gets cut ect 

If he doesn't make those decisions who does.

If howie is responsible for those decisions alone then I'd question the decision making process in Philly.

I am not going to start ranking QB but there are a few that could make this current team playoff contenders and another handful of them that would have won our first few games.  Wentz can turn it around but it better start soon.  Like as in yesterday.  His time is running out.  Between being inconsistent and injuries, he needs to get it going immediately and for a long duration of time, if he is going to be our franchise QB for the next 5-7 years.

Also how many Super Bowls has the elite Wilson won? I mean elite quarterbacks win super bowls no matter how bad the rest of the team is right?

I understand when people say elite quarterbacks are going to raise everyone else up on the team to play at a higher level. However I look at all the elite quarterbacks none of them have had to go through the amount of crap we have over the last two years in terms of injuries and talent at positions.

Like Aaron Rodgers has always had Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Greg Jennings, Devante Adams. It’s not like he’s playing with garbage wide receivers out there. They might not of been first rounders but they were drafted and developed.

Tom Brady didn’t have a elite wide receivers but Julian Edelman has been one of the best slot receivers in football for a decade. Before that he had Wes Welker. He had randy moss for a couple years. Having Rob Gronkowski who is a Hall of Fame tight end makes a difference.

Drew Brees has Michael Thomas who might be the best wide receiver in football except this year he’s missed some games and they’ve struggled on offense at times. And they have kamara who’s been a nightmare like westbrook was in the pass game. And they added sanders 

I think Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL however if you told me he had to play with the 2019 eagles roster and wide receivers we have today I don’t think he would be putting up the numbers that he is in Kansas City. It makes a difference to have Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce as your one and two weapons and then still have guys like hardman, Watkins and CEH. Along with reid is a great coach. 

deshaun Watson has not been great this year. And I would say he has better weapons on the field right now then the Philadelphia Eagles do. And he up until last week against the jags has been struggling

Wilson is playing out of his mind this year because Pete Carroll finally allowed him to be the quarterback that he can be. However he also has Metcalf and Lockett who are really good wide receivers. And Carson who is one of the most underrated running backs in this league. Furthermore I would argue Russell Wilson’s always had good wide receivers out there. Doug Baldwin was a really good wide receiver until he got hurt. Don’t get me wrong I think Russell Wilson would be great regardless but it helps to have competent and good wide receivers

Do I know if Carson Wentz is elite? I don’t because I don’t think we’ve had adequate weapons around him to see if he can consistently play at the level of 2017 Besides 2017. We’ve had Ertz who I think is a good player. And the rest the wide receiving corps has been either injured or not very good. Sanders is great but missed a game this year and left games early last year to put us down to Boston Scott. And he didn’t get going til like week 8 last year.  The problem is we say these elite quarterbacks bring up the talent around Them but then I look around all these elite quarterbacks have guys around them that are good players.

No, but elite QB's like Wilson definitely aren't the WORST QB in the league at any point, regardless of the talent around them.  Unlike your binky Carson this year.

And you know that Wilson already won 1 SB, went to another, and makes his team a contender virtually every year.

Welll don't look now but we are a playoff contender. Unless this team turns it around there is no quarterback that would win a super bowl with the players on this team. As for Wentz time running out? Maybe for you but I doubt anyone in the eagles f.o. agrees with you.
