Should be an interesting game tonight. Both teams coming off a loss and the Bills got embarrassed.

A 45-42 score wouldn't surprise me at all

Game was moved to Monday. That would have been the biggest F you ever to make a team play on a Tuesday then a Thursday

Thanks, didn't see that.

Maybe the Dolphins can sign Bell and release Howard.  I'd love to have him back here on some short deal.  The back up running back situation is such an underrated blunder this year.

I think that injury to Howard last year did him in. He got 1 carry for the Eagles after that and seems to be doing nothing with Miami despite being paid $5mil.

Crazy because there were moments last year he was looking like Eddie George.

Wait until Raegor is ready to come back and Howie cuts Quez Watkins to protect Alshon, DeSean and Arcega-Crapside.

Nah, he'll cut Crapside then the Giants will sign him and he'll play well

To be fair, it took moving your slot cb to outside, cutting both reserve outside cbs, only keeping Craig James as depth with 2 other slot CB’s, and then one injury.

Maddox was always going to be their guy on the outside.

Jordan Howard has 18 carries for 14 yards for the Dolphins this year. He can’t be right.

Listened to an interview with the Old Dominion HC. Fulgham didn’t ply HS football until his junior year. He was a basketball/soccer player. He went to ODU as a preferred walk-on. The HV said he was really raw and it wasn’t until his senior year when he put it all together. He had a really slow start to the year )something like six catches in his first three games) and when the starting QB got hurt, he took off. Against No. 10 Virginia Tech he went off for 188 yards and two TDs and drew the scouts’ attention. He said he compiled something like 1,000 yards over his final nine games.

They have only used him in goal line and short yardage. He was a healthy scratch.

Also has 3 TDs.  I haven't seen anything from Clement or Scott this year that tells me they could get a tough yard at the goal line.

The kickings just keep coming don't they!

Eh.  We've seen Bustolor and he hasn't changed.  There is just as much chance that he drops every ball for the next 4 weeks.   Even if this continues to happen, it's only his 2nd quality season.

I do. Pretty damn tough to "cradle catch" an over the shoulder throw. It's why God gave you hands. Catch the ball higher and earlier then dead leg and that's a touchdown. Receivers do it all the time across the league.

This.  He tried to body catch that ball versus snatching it out of the air.

No I know I appreciate that but still isn't great for the team is it.

I don't think his performance sheds any light on anything here.  He got paid more than he is worth and they had years of performance to make the decision.  He is so inconsistent.  I think the Eagles made the right call on this one.

Isn't great for what team? The Eagles? Why?

Well he struggled here. Was that down to the scheme? The QB? Maybe it was all on him but if he goes on to have a good NFL career then it isn't great for the Eagles is it.

I mean, just go back to the Falcons game last year. That's one of the easiest catches a WR could ever make, to win a game for his team, and he couldn't do it. He was never going to succeed here, I don't think it's any reflection of the franchise at all.

His job is to catch the ball.  Not being able to track the ball in the air or letting the ball hit your hands and then dropping it means that he fails at the two most basic functions of a WR.   That is not scheme or QB, my friend.

4 games does not make a career.  I'd bet the old Nelson Dropsgolor isn't far below the surface.

Another point about the Hightower miss: when you have a defender on your back, as he did, you can slow down. He can't go through you and you can extend your arms for the catch without him being able to reach the catch point. What Hightower did was give the defender a chance to make a play.

Yup.  The good news is that he's young and needs to learn 'NFL' style WR play.  Hopefully our new WR coach can help with that.  If he doesn't learn from this, then that's bad.  Not making that play in that game isn't a death knell for him.  But, if he has a chance on a similar play later this season, we should see growth and a better effort.

It would be nice to cash in on a late bloomer that someone else gave up on, especially at a position that this team has struggled with to find young talent for over a decade.  I'm keeping my cautious optimism on him.  Another week like the one he just had and I might be a full-fledged Travis Fulgham fan.   I already love his tenacity.  His block at the goalline in SF game, his willingness to GO GET the ball, rather than passively wait for it to come to him... those are great signs.   He seems to be fearless.  And he's got that big frame you want in an "X".  He played last week the way we had Jeffery playing in 2017.  Good routes, big body, strong hands = NFL separation. And the QB seems to trust him.   We just need to see it continue now that he's put the league on notice.  Baltimore will be keying on him a bit more than Pittsburgh did until late.  Can he do it again?  (Or at least half of that?  I'd settle for 5 catches for 75 yards and consider that a success for him.)

No. His struggles here had everything to do with between his ears.   Did you not watch him for the last 5 years?   He got open A LOT, but would fumble untouched (Detroit game 2019), drop easy balls (2016, 2018, 2019), couldn't track a deep ball to save his life  - the deep ball in LV he was running nearly parallel to the LOS when he caught it.

Agholor has less targets per game in their offense than Waller, Renfrow, Ruggs, Zay Jones, Jacobs, and Jalen Richard.  As long as that continues he'll be fine.  If the Raiders ever get to the point where they need to count on him, that's when he will be what he has always been -- terrible.

I hear what you're saying and there's a reason he was a 5th round pick.  Why do we always have to wait for Eagles WR to learn how to play in the NFL?  I just go back to other rookie WRs making plays when given the chance.  I just don't get it.  For once, I want to see an Eagles rookie WR just prove he belongs right out of the gate.

Fred Dean has passed away from COVID-19.  Very sad

Ags is only playing because of injuries.

Grayland Arnold is back on the PS.  You can bet any amount the Eagles thought they could get Toohill back on the PS.  They would have had a better chance getting Vinny Curry on the PS.

#151 -- Joe Reed (LAC) -- 1 catch, 8 yards, 6 kick returns for 154 yards

#161 -- Tyler Johnson (TB) -- 4 catches, 61 yards

#165 -- Collin Johnson (JAX) -- 5 catches, 47 yards

#166 -- Quintez Cephus (DET) -- 6 catches, 97 yards

#168 -- John Hightower (PHI) -- 7 catches, 57 yards

Looks to me like Hightower is doing fine for where he was selected.
