Yup I agree that's what they are thinking and I believe like others they are wrong.

I mean honestly I would rather have Avery playing. At this point I'm not too disappointed about Toohill if he develops then maybe

Fulgham mania in full effect. I usually have a good eye when it comes to WRs and  I’m not buying in just yet. He took advantage of the Steelers defense who refused to make an adjustment on him and when they finally did He was shut down on the last drive.

Constantly winning at the catch point isn't a fluke.

Whether he or not he can separate against good CBs (Humphrey, Peters)? We'll see.

Let’s see him do it with teams that are gonna be ready for him.

That said I hope he makes me eat my words

Hayden was pretty grabby on that slant and fulgham admitted afterwards that he should have caught it.

It's not like hayden got his hands on the ball he just pushed and grabbed fulgham a bit before the ball got there, could have easily been called illegal contact the way the refs were calling ticky tack stuff on slay.

Having said that I think fulgham will continue to be a nice piece and target for Wentz. I don't expect him to catch 10 passes a game but I think he can be a serviceable target and a guy who can make plays and once guys like goedert jackson reagor are back a team like the steelers won't have the luxury of playing their best corner on him without giving up something to the others.

They shut him down for one drive after he torched them for 10 for 153 and a TD. If we have a WR that requires extra attention, that’s a big win by itself. At some point he’ll have help from Goedert, DJax and Reagor.

I get not buying in because the sample size is small, but I’m not using a single drive against arguably the best defense in the NFL as reason for pessimism.

Could also say victor Cruz. Cruz had better speed but came out of nowhere too

Victor Cruz also dominated pre-season.  No one could stop him.  Would be great if he's anywhere near Cruz or Austin (not the Eagles version).

How long has it been since an Eagles WR took advantage of a defense?  There’s a lot to be said for desire and grabbing an opportunity.  How good Fulgham will be going forward will depend on how hard he pushes himself to be consistent.

Don’t forget, he also caught the go-ahead TD for the Eagles only win this season, and showed good physical traits to stay in bounds and score.

Gerry's a place holder until Bradley and Taylor are ready. A criticism one might level at our coaches is their sticking too long with veterans over more talented rookies. I think that criticism is misplaced but i can understand it. Play a guy before he's ready and you can ruin him permanently.  Some guys are tough enough to overcome early failure; others are not. Vaitai was, for example, but Winston Justice was not. Driscoll looks like he may become a player. He's scrappy. And I'm excited about Mailata's future. Then there are guys who plateau. Pryor is one of those, it appears.

On defense you can really see which players are not mentally ready when they blow assignments over and over. The Rams took those guys out behind the woodshed and beat them unmercifully.

If we are waiting for Bradley and Taylor to be ready I fear we are just waiting for more disappointment.  Both of those players are destined to be JAGs.

At this point a Jag is an upgrade over Gerry 😁

23 of 23 might as well pay me to run around and look confused. I can do it for less.

i'll take vet min to stumble around for 3 hours on a Sunday

Found out the youth football that has been keeping me from seeing eagles games this season is paying at least 20k for athletic trainers at their games. I haven't made a dollar.

I don't care if he's the real deal or not. It's fun watching a WR fight for the ball. Going to just enjoy this while I have it

So, did Toohill clear waiver?  Back with the team?

How’s the scouting for young talent for the eagles going? Any linebacker and corner prospects?

I don’t know I think he likes playing and likes playing with the guys are here. The fact that he posted today a picture of shoes saying it felt good to lace them back up and he’s trying to get  that fast makes me think he still wants to play. I think there’s a bigger chance this is Jason kelce last year with the eagles

Oddly enough my kid sent me that picture about an hour after i made my post. I really hope you're right.

Let’s not pretend it’s a positive thing that Mills and Gerry are still on the roster, either

I like Mills as a number 3 safety/STer. I like Gerry as a #3 LB/STer. They should be in a position where they’re playing anywhere from 25-50% of the team’s snaps. Not 100%

That’s too much shade for mills. Not as bad as all that.

I’m floored after four months he was out there lacing them up
