Sanders has a big game.  The D plays ok.  Gerry gets benched after being touched by Andrews.  Wentz plays good enough.  Ertz catches a TD.

Works for me.  The fun thing is you could line those guys up however you feel like as each could play the X, Z and slot to create ideal mismatches.  After that draft all D players except for a C and a late round RB.  

Need talented interior offensive linemen - gotta get at least one early.  Currently no center to replace Kelce, if it is Seumalo, then need a left G.  Watching our running game should convince us of this - wasting Sanders 2nd season as a runner right before our eyes, and getting Wentz hit as much as any QB in the league.

Draft should be all about Waddle.  But we have 5 NFC east games left and that will make it very challenging to pick in his range.

Yep, they are all really good at blocking.  I heard that comment too and thought the same thing.  Pretty exciting game.

The Eagles remaining non-division schedule compared to the Cowboys looks night and day. That’s why I can’t see the Eagles winning the division even though 7 wins probably gets it done. 

Alright, I guess I'll be the one to say it, but I actually think we match up better against the Ravens than we do against the Steelers. I'm not as convinced it'll be the blowout it's being hyped up to be.

Maybe. I actually liked the matchup vs the Steelers but Schwartz was badly out coached. The Steelers O-coordinator did a good job getting the ball out of Ben’s hand quick. 
 

The player I’m most worried about is Mark Andrews. He’s the Ravens best player on offense outside of Jackson and the Eagles can’t cover TEs.

On offense the Eagles need someone besides Fulgham to step up at WR. The Ravens D can be beat over the top. 
 

The blueprint for beating the Ravens is simple. Get up early and make Lamar beat you with his arm. He’s not going to zing the ball all over the field like Mahomes or Rodgers. Stop the run. Don’t let him throw the skinny post to Andrews. 

 

We might win this game.  But I'm not gonna be home. 

Hopefully this is the last youth game I have to do.  But haven't seen their playoff schedule yet...

Please,  no posting about the game till I get home to watch it.

The Ravens not having Brandon Williams helps but need to double Campbell.

That trade undoubtedly worked out better for the Ravens but it still was a good one for the Eagles. 

I don't know if it's because the Eagles are sucking, Covid, or the political BS this year but i'm having a hard time getting excited about watching the NFL. Not just Eagles games, but ANY games.

I’m actually more excited than I thought I was going to be.
 

Usually by the beginning of August I really get the itch for football. This year I really didn’t even think about it until Labor Day.
 

But I’m glad it’s here and fall Sundays are at least mostly normal.

This is the last thing I want to hear.  The Eagles were healthier and better last year and he tried to improve the team by trading for Avery.  The year prior it was Golden Tate.  Neither of those trades worked and the teams the Eagles fielded were miles ahead of where this team is now.  This tells me that for starters, Howie is not learning from past mistakes and secondly, they have this delusion that the Eagles are better than they are.

This team is in no position to be buyers at the deadline.  We don't have the draft capital to part with.  We don't have the cap space to extend an expiring contract.

The only way this would be a good thing is if Howie is looking at player for player trades.  Cox and Ertz might bring back a mid-tier linebacker.  

I would much rather see this team load up on picks.  The more picks we have the more likely the chance Howie actually hits on one.
