Wow ravens now a 10 point favorite. I could be wrong but if I were to bet I would take the Eagles and the points all day.

So knowing the eagles timeline right after the bye week

Need talented interior offensive linemen - gotta get at least one early.  Currently no center to replace Kelce, if it is Seumalo, then need a left G.  Watching our running game should convince us of this - wasting Sanders 2nd season as a runner right before our eyes, and getting Wentz hit as much as any QB in the league.

That's why I said to draft a C as well.  We are going to need one soon, maybe sooner than what most want to believe.  Our division is rubbish so we'll probably still have a shot at winning it when the trade deadline comes, so we probably won't be sellers thus won't acquire more draft picks which is what we need.  So if we don't win the NFC Least and have the usual 1 pick in each round and end up drafting somewhere 8-14 then a draft like this is possible:

1-Chase/Waddle

2-CB/LB

3-C (OTs are valued first then Gs then C last so there's a chance you can get a solid one in by the 3rd)

4-CB/LB

5-RB

6 & 7 - LB/OL/DL

Nate Sudfeld wins the LVP award.

Hakeem Butler is actually active. I doubt he plays an offensive snap.

I guess Brett Toth is the swing T?

Howie said they drafted Hurts because Sudfeld will be leaving for an opportunity to start somewhere.

Yeah, I just think gotta get a lineman that is plug and play.  From C-RG-RT all aging and only Kelce able to actually play a full season.

Which was BS considering he was a free agent this year

They do need to be more careful since this is a hand injury that was surgically dealt with. I hope they err on the side of being more cautious vs. rushing him back.

We need talent and we need talent who will actually contribute as rookies for once.

1. Waddle

2. BPA, ideally an OL, but it's gotta be BPA

3. BPA

4. Traded for Avery.  Awesome.

5. BPA

5. BPA

6. BPA

7. BPA

Those Tate and Avery trades are a bit painful.  Avery still has an outside chance to produce enough to make it worth it, but not betting on that right now.  I know what you mean, I was just spitballing.  Thing is, we needs loads of help at most positions and it's going to take a few competent drafts to fix it.  That in itself is a concern.

Absolutely.  But he needs to play soon and needs to play well.  The FO needs to salvage some dignity; they simply cannot afford yet another Howie draft where every single pick is on the extended development plan, especially with the massive impact rookie WRs have been having across the league for years now.

Here is my issue and the same goes for Dillard.  Reagor had a shoulder injury before the hand.  Dillard had the shoulder injury before the muscle tear.  Let them heal properly and these more serious injuries may not happen

Well, Howie's screw ups were to take Hurts and Taylor. Those are two project players who won't provide immediate impact.  I won't be upset about Reagor taking a couple of extra weeks, if needed.  Howie's mistakes happened on draft day. He acted like we were a SB champion that didn't need immediate impact players.  The sad thing is I don't think Lurie gets it.

I can't see the Eagles taking Waddle after taking Regaor this past draft. If they miss out on Chase I would go Devonta Smith

We won't be able to afford to go WR. I like Waddle, but we have to get younger and more talented in the trenches and we need defensive help. Take a lesson from Dallas. They indulged in Lamb and they had bigger needs elsewhere and there was talent there that could've helped their defense.  Now look at how bad their defense is.  I know it's not "fun" to take OL or LB or DBs, but that's where our main needs are.

They would absolutely take Waddle and it should have nothing to do with Reagor.

Cowboys d stinks, mainly because Nolan is no good, followed by injuries

A new DC would do wonders for that team.

Mills is not worse than either of those guys at CB. Wonder if they plan on blitzing Mills a bunch.

The Avery trade is way less of than issue than the Tate one. At least Avery is on a rookie contract and has upside. Trading for Tate and not re-signing is flat out malpractice.

Was clearing our a closet earlier to prepare for moving house, so I'm rocking an old McNabb jersey today. Won't bring luck, but in surprisingly good condition from being rammed into a cupboard for years
