I give both Wentz and Pederson a free pass for this one game, because I know they're both capable of much better.  I'm a bit more confident in Wentz at this point, though.

It was a very positive thing that the Rams beat DAL -- but only if the Eagles beat the Rams.

That would be a nice win over a common opponent.

Doug has shown that he can self-correct after a bad game.

I am optimistic that with some bodies coming back and playing in front of the home placards, we should beat the Rams.

The large number of injuries repeated over multiple years suggests that there is something fundamentally wrong with how the Eagles prepare their players physically. The evidence is at best circumstantial but the weight of it appears compelling. First, we did not seem to have these problems with Chip. Second, the Eagles have replaced the previous training/medical staff and yet the problem remains. Third, multiple players on Sunday seemed to be dehydrated or poorly conditioned.

Now, this could all be coincidence. Or, we could be cursed. I suspect something mechanistic.

That should be easy

I only watched the first 20 minutes or so of the DAL/LAR game last night; I turned it off with the Rams dominating, yet the Turds ahead 14-13.

Turds fans should be very worried about LVE, though.  Even before he injured his collarbone he didn't look like the same guy out there -- very slow, and late to the ball.

He’s an eagle. 🦅

I mean it's too much of a coincidence, right?

Something to watch if Lane’s "decent hope” of playing turns into an out.

Back in the super bowl days, with a 17 point lead we would have pounded the opponent in to submission with Ajayi and Blount.

Yesterday, we didnt have Sanders and Fournette. Or Sanders and Howard. Or even Sanders and Warren.

We had 3 wannabe Sproles backs.

What resulted was our injury prone QB getting battered and turning the ball over. And a loss.

The OL position was trouble. But we had injuries there and rookies with no pre-season experience had to play. I have hope for those guys even though they had a bad game.

The RB position was mismanaged and its costly. Unlike the hope with the OL, theres no hope for Clement, Scott, or Huntley to be starting RBs. They are backups incapable of the role they were given yesterday.

The frustrating thing is that over the past three seasons, they seem to be concentrated at certain position groups.  DBs in 2018.  WRs last year.  OL now.

Although the injuries in 2017 were significant.  They were both fewer and spread out.

I know what I need to know.

in 2017 they got leads and pounded the rick with their big backs.

Yesterday they got a 17 point lead and continued passing. Their backs could not run because they suck. And the OL sucked. But again, there is reason for faith in the OL to get squared away. There is no reason to believe in those RBs behind Sanders.

Where were the new wrinkles to this offense yesterday? Marty and Rich getting paid for what? Doug even acknowledging their opinions? Zero adjustments in the 2nd half. Pam Oliver reported coming out of halftime Doug said he was happy with the offense but wanted to score more points. Great job he did

You should probably just watch the game.

We had backup RBs playing behind backup OLs trying to deal with one of the best DLs in the league.

I wouldn't be inclined to draw any conclusions other than we need to get healthy.

I dont think I want to.

This sums it up perfectly.

The conclusion could be drawn well before this game. It was only confirmation.

I'm starting to wonder if it's in their strength training rather than the actual medical staff.  They've replaced med staff multiple times but have had the same strength coach for quite some time.  Maybe he isn't doing the best in strengthening our players the best way possible to manage an NFL season.

Reminds me of McNabb's NFCCG.  Lot's of good and lot's of bad.

Who needs a RB factory when you can have a QB factory! But yeah, Fournette would've been nice. Feels like TB got some nice value bringing him in on that deal. Could've been Blount v2 as you said.
