I think Duke Riley could turn in to a good player.  With his speed I'd love to see him blitz but we know that won't happen.

I was pretty high on him coming out. I watched a lot of him being a Trojans/ Pac12 fan. Idk what has happen tbh. I know it's week 1 but he's gotta show up very soon or he's done

I’m trying to be patient with JJAW, but yesterday was really disappointing.

Even more frustrating than yesterday where he was like nonexistent is the eagle spin machine all training camp long. This feels like every time they have a player they want to build up because people are down on them they come out with a spin. I felt like Matt Tobin for like 4 years was going to be a starting tackle by the way they kept spinning it

it was posted earlier. I think it was like 24 for him. But 0 targets. 

Its easy if he is having drops and fumbles like Agholor and Huff. 

But to have 0 targets, someone smart has to be watching each of his routes and know where he should be and what hes doing wrong. No one here can do that. 

Its very hard to believe that in year 2 he is still so clueless to be that out of position that he cant even get 1 target. And if he is, how did he make the team? And how did he get 24 snaps in a game? It doesnt make any sense.

On the last part, the Eagles don’t want to admit when they make mistakes Until it’s painfully obvious. They are stubborn When it comes to admitting a mistake. How long does it take for them to finally realize Mack hollins was just not very good last year. He was playing a good portion of snaps and doing nothing. They kept playing him and they kept getting the same results. And eventually they were like you know what he’s just not very good let’s bring up Greg Ward. I think some of this is the Eagles trying to push it because they don’t want to be proven wrong because they know they’re going to face ridicule about it. Especially this pic because it was a tunnel wide receivers that went after him they have performed

Like I said in a different post have to watch the all 22 to see how he ran his routes and if he was getting open and wentz just didn’t look that way.

They need to start mostly drafting guys from big time schools that produced consistently in college.  

Do they ever draft guys from Bama, Ohio st., LSU, Clemson, etc.?  Mills and Wallace are from LSU and Clemson respectively but that's all I can think of.

I believe that rookie from Jax, Shenault scored a TD yesterday.  Took him 1 game and JJAW hasnt scored yet.

 

Just rewatched. Wish I hadn’t. Worst 32 minutes by Wentz and Doug, actually the entire organization that I can remember. Going through the motions. Kelce should retire after that effort. Missed assignments. Missed tackles. Boneheaded plays all around. They should be ashamed. I know I am. 

 

JJAW just doesn't get separation. He runs stiff, he's not fluid, he's not quick, doesn't accelerate well or have any burst. I'll be stunned if he's ever anything in this league.

I think Hollins got snaps because of injuries. There was no one else.

Yeah, maybe JJAW just cant get open. Its completely unbelievable to think he might still have no idea how to run a route and yet still played 28 snaps. This is something theyd know throughout camp.

Mack Hollins nailed the alignment and assignment stuff and never got targets because he wasn’t actually good.

Jordan Matthews wasn't has bad as this board likes to make him out to be. He was solid. Wasn't worthy of a 2nd rd pick I would agree on that

Hightower was the only one with less. JJAW was almost strictly RZ only

yeah but he was out there last year due to tons of injuries more than anything. JJAW is getting these snaps in week 1 and the only injured player is Alshon who wouldnt even be on the team anyway if it wasnt for his salary. This is about as healthy as the WR group will ever be and JJAW is getting 28 snaps. 

If hes that bad they should have signed literally anyone off of any practice squad. Even their boy Burnett..
