Doug just gave the cliche that "there are no moral victories" because you can't tell the truth and have to lie to the media.  But then he vehemently talked about how proud he was of the team, basically insinuating that yes, it was a moral victory.

And he's right about that.

I am 100% anti playing Jason Peters again, but I'll make an exception for putting him in at RG ahead of Jamon Brown.  Brown is such a disaster that it almost torpedoes the entire offense.

If they make the playoffs and Wentz is playing well, then the early season struggles are irrelevant.  But, the team is going no where for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is the injuries killing their OL and WRs.

Game wasnt televised here. I am watching "highlights". Im through 1 half. My god... Hightower. Wentz Fumble. Sanders end zone drop. Missed FG. Jesus....

And agian, opportunities are there. Doug's scheme works. Execution is always our issue.

I understand the temptation to put in Hurts. You gotta question whether the Carson Wentz rollercoaster act is a playoff QB. Since 2018, he's a sub-.500 QB.

fans that are ok with this  seems like the last super bowl win was good enough for them to deal with a couple of years of losing.

How many starters besides Wentz on O? 3? And one is a TE that no longer cares. How many hits? 16. Sacks? 6. How many on the year? 25. Good for most in the league. I don't think Hurts the boy wonder is fixing any of that. 

You just know how far the standards have fallen when "the Eagles played a great quarter!" is now a positive.

Gutsy game by Wentz, out there with 4 back ups at OL throwing to a bunch  back up receivers with a defense that has zero LBs a coach that makes calls that take points off the board and still only loses by two.

The fumble wasn't good but the ravens made a good play holding him up and stripping the ball.

I'll take today's Carson Wentz any game!

Just to be clear, my criticism of Wentz’s play early in the season is not an endorsement of benching him for Hurts.
