Yeah, maybe JJAW just cant get open. Its completely unbelievable to think he might still have no idea how to run a route and yet still played 28 snaps. This is something theyd know throughout camp. 

Yeah but at some point in time when hollins is giving you absolutely nothing with those snaps you have to put somebody else out there that could at least do something. They continuously just trotted him out there because they didn’t want to bring up Greg Ward and replace a draft pick that soon.

Again I feel this goes back to the Eagles not wanting to admit a mistake if that’s what’s going on. They’ll keep putting him out there because they want to be right and not have to deal with the repercussions that people are going to grill them on this because of so many wide receivers that went after him that have performed. This ain’t the first time the eagles have played this type of game with draft picks.

Do we even runt stunts on our blitzes?  If we do it's very rare.  Kind of predictable how to block you if all you do is send 4 guys rushing straight up the field all/most of the time.  Seems when other teams do it to us it's rather effective.

Maybe. That seems more likely than any other explaination right now.

But then, dont you think theyd be pressuring Carson to actually target him a few times? If not, theres no point in still throwing JJAW out there. Hes not going to have a chance to prove them right and make a play if the ball wont come his way. Youd think if they want him out there, they want him getting targets too.

I believe that rookie from Jax, Shenault scored a TD yesterday.  Took him 1 game and JJAW hasnt scored yet.

They haven't sucked bad enough to get those players. Those players are going top 10-12. The real good ones. Are there ones that fall to us but don't get drafted? Of course. That's a Howie problem. But they're drafting "their guy". I'm not saying I agree with JJAW over Metcalf. I'm just saying I liked him coming out. Stanford is a big time school and JJAW produced there. There are bust in every conference not just the pac12.

I can’t say for certain, but I seem to recall him being used almost like a detached TE as well.

I was being a bit sarcastic but if you really want we can go ahead and bring up stats... no point in getting into a Greg ward vs Jordan Matthews debate. Having either one as your #2 option is not good

If lean is correct that he was only RZ it’s his snaps kind of feels like two things could be going on. 1. They realize he’s limited as a WR and just using him where he can make an impact for them. 2. Trying to use him to his best ability to make him look better and build confidence. Instead of elsewhere where they believe he’s not good enough. 
 

again there’s a couple things that could be going on with Carson. One he might not trust him. Two there’s an internal conflict between Carson Wentz and the front office as wentz isn’t exactly thrilled with some of the things that have gone on (speculation on my point but since Howie Roseman like to say you had to have a tough conversation with Carson. I’m guessing that conversation wasn’t tough, it was likely not very friendly Between the two)

There was a handfull of him in the slot too when they were basically running 12 but using 11 personnel. I don't think it was many times they did this though. I'll try to find the tweet.

I agree.  Davante Adam's came from Fresno St I believe.

Every conference has some good prospects.  I'm not saying dont draft from the Pac 12 or Big Sky conference.  But they should be looking at bigger programs first.
