Why, because they don’t run as fast as Marcus Green or Quez Watkins?

No, because 1/3 of them suck, 1/3 is a total unknown, and 1/3 is a udfa who benefits from being ignored in soft coverage.

Big contract # to bring in for an Eagles team that needs to shed salary

How much more than the Alston contract?

With how regularly Miles Sanders gets dinged up, the Eagles have an almost desperate need for another RB who resembles an NFL starter

Hopefully the Dolphins will release Howard.

Logically Jeffery would dress in place of JJAW and Jackson in front of Hightower.  For as long as their health lasts (1 week presumably) the lineup with a healthy Reagor and Goedert would look somewhat better

Agreed there, these guys have been out for a month now. Need to play if they can practice at all.

The pass protection from the RB position was noticeably scary bad after Sanders went out.

Aside from not being able to run the ball,  this highlights the failure of our front office in getting sproles-obsessed rather than actually adding some real RBs behind Sanders.

So jealous of Tampa's defense. The creativity and combination of vets, current stars, future stars.

I've said it before and I know it's not a popular take, but Sanders is trade piece #1 for me in the offseason. His value is still high and he's going to be looking for a new contract in the next 1-2 years and big deals for RBs seemingly never work out. So unless if he wants to take some team-friendly deal, I wouldn't do it. You can find a decent RB in the middle of the draft and it's not an essential position. As great as McCaffrey is, Carolina has been winning games without him and Mike Davis is efficient.

They need to eliminate the money going to Jeffery, Jackson, and restructure guys like Barnett and Cox among others to get anywhere near the 2021 cap.  OBJ is just adding more cost.  Bring him in and you’ll lose 2-3 other starters as cap casualties

Reagor, Fulgham, and Ward won’t be scaring anyone in 2021.

Ward has done a nice job for us but he’s JAG.

Yup.  There’s bigger upside next season with Reagor in the slot, Fulgham on the outside with Hightower, and Goedert (and maybe Ertz) at TE.  I still would want another WR to upgrade Hightower

For everyone saying Wentz is injury prone it appears to me that the whole damn team is injury prone.

Wentz has been the only guy on this offense the past two seasons who actually stays healthy.

Name a team that  is out it's starting LT RT RG LG. The LT is a 3rd stringer. The RG a 4th stringer. The RT a backup rookie that was projected to OG.

Their best WR is a guy who wasn't on the roster 3 weeks ago and had been cut 3 times.

The second best WR is a former qb that has been cut 6 times.

Their Best TE is injured, their 2nd best TE isn't interested in playing football anymore the 3rd TE is in and out of the lineup and the 4th TE Croom no one knows who he is. After his td the announcers were like uh ummm some random dude with a td, his jersey says Croom so I guess that's what we'll call him😒 Carson probably didn't even know his name.

Once one gets past the point that Carson has 1 starting OL no starting WRs no starting TE lost his starting RB 4th quarter then one has to consider his kicker defense and coaches did zero favors for him today and after all that they lost by 2 but yeah you're right the eagles 3rd stringers really got B slapped today😒

The FO is 100% culpable for the disaster that is the 2020 Eagles.

Backups have to play sometimes. Our backups either suck ass or aren't prepared. That's the staff's job and they're failing miserably.

Hightower needs to spend the offseason learning how to catch a ball like an NFL receiver does.

Kelce hasn't been healthy but has been able to play through it.

I still like him on the roster, though.  He knows how to get open and I’m hopeful Moorehead can develop him.

Isn't Sproles apart of the coaching staff too? lol

Hightower should have been benched last week

I agree

So the 2 biggest games this week, Steelers-Browns and Packers-Bucs are both blowouts.

Rodgers playing terrible.

During the game I commented in the gdt that Wentz was one of 4 healthy starters left on offense(Wentz, Sanders, Ertz, Kelce). By the end of the game it was just Wentz and Kelce, yikes.

Rodgers loses his left tackle and turns to mush.
