Am I the only one that saw Taylor like a heat seeking missile to catch Lamar at the end of the game?  As far as I am concerned they should be playing him, Singleton and TJ, when he comes off IR and Bradley in packages.  Move Gerry and Riley back to STs, where they excel.  My theory is if you keep Taylor clean, even if he initially missteps, his speed and laser tackling will fix anything like that.

No, another poster and I commented on it immediately. He bit hard on the fake, but that was some serious makeup speed.

Patrick Queen played well today.

And notice who made the stop on the 2-point conversion.  None other than LJ Fort.  Granted the play went right to him.

Man, I can’t wait to see Reagor play again. Watching all these good rookie WRs is annoying.

When can Reagor and Goedert come back? Have we had and updates?

At this point I also think keeping Wentz upright is a worthy reason to work him in. Wentz doesn’t survive 16 games of this nonsense OL. Big Ben wouldn’t

Fair enough, but it's also worth pointing up that Wentz ends up mixing it up as a blocker in at least half of Hurts' plays, one of which today had Wentz blocking downfield as the pile rolled up behind his legs.

Lately, that seems like a safer job than the pocket.  But still, it's just embarrassing that we have an oft-used package of plays in which our franchise QB blocks by design.

I've gone back each week and watched Justin Jefferson's reception highlights and he doesn't look any different at all to me than he did in college. He's not getting tons of separation, he's not roasting guys down field. It's certainly very possible Howie Fed up by not drafting him, and there's no denying the insane numbers he's putting up, but I still can't see him being the best WR in this draft class. He doesn't ooze insane athletic traits to me.

Not that all WRs have to, but despite his numbers I'd still buy stock in other WRs in this class over him. We'll see I guess. Still reminds me a lot of Doug Baldwin.

Yup, watching him he wins on a lot of the same routes he did in college. Option routes from the slot. He's a smooth route runner with solid hands. He's surprised me with a few catches he's had playing X or Z going deep but most his stuff actually remindse of what chip used to do with jordan matthews as a big slot though jefferson has better hands and is quicker in and out of his routes and matthews had better straight line speed.

It's really too bad reagor is hurt as I think he could be making some plays.

I didnt and don't think jefferson has the same success here as he is having in minnesota. He would probably be forced to play a lot of X here and the defense would worry about him more than they do in minnesota where theilen draws a lot of coverage and he doesn't have the deep speed the eagles offense needs.

Reagor watkins hightower are all faster and bigger deep threats, now if hightower could catch we might have something☹️

He also has to absolutely produce.  They need to force him the ball.  If he comes back and makes a catch here and there it's a fail.  I hope he can handle the pressure especially after seeing Jefferson go off.  i don't care if it was garbage time, he has 3-100 yard games in his first 6.  Reagor needs to absolutely ball out.

Out of curiosity, does Doug get credit for going to Hurts to spark the offense or is it just annoying to you?

Annoyed he didn’t do it sooner

Reagor said today he’d be back soon. No clue on Goedert.

He’s a bust, but I give him credit for not letting that affect his effort on blocks and hustling.

He’s building confidence off of that meaningless catch against the Steelers

From the team that said they were optimistic DeSean would play 3 weeks ago?

Lol, no.

They can both come back starting this week.

I'm still hoping Desean can be ready for week 3 of last year.

Yes but you can scheme that out.

Interestingly, in a win today for the colts their two leading receivers were former Eagles Marcus Johnson and Trey Burton.

Frank Reich is a wizard. True story.

I saw Burton take a snap at QB and run it for the td. Good times.

and yet he has a great WR in TY Hilton doing absolutely nothing.

Nice game for Tee Higgins. Averaged over 20 per catch. Not fast though.

TY Hilton is approaching Desean Jackson levels of durability though.

I can’t picture Miles injury being super serious, I saw him on the sideline towards the end of the game cheering on his teammates, hopefully he only misses the giants game

It's getting absurd.  At some point we can't blame it on bad luck of drafting, it's the scouting, coaching and the way the team uses the players they draft.

He’d have been out on IR if he was still here.

This team is too particular in the draft and it narrows their options. It was all about college production a couple years ago. Now it's all about speed and athleticism. Taking the best football players is too simple for them.

Game ball has to go to JJAW today. A 70+ yard TD plus a crucial 2 point conversion. That’s what we drafted him for.

Baby steps......small, little, tiny baby steps.

I think every rookie WR has stood out this year so far........except ours of course.  Hard to show anything when you're on the bench injured but hopefully he'll be back soon.
