I guess there wasnt a single DE in the entire rest of the NFL that had any upside. From Toohill, back to Miller. We downgraded.

Higgins has been getting better, but this was a straight up brutal play that Higgins didn’t really do much on. He also got caught from behind by a corner who ran a 4.51 at the combine.

Does that mean that all the injuries we've had and games players have missed is because the coaches or Howie holds them out?  Or is it the players that decide they wont play?

I know every team deals with injuries but it is starting to get ridiculous with this team.  I wonder if some of these injuries that they could just suck it up and play through.

So what are everyone's expectations with 10 games left? I can't see them doing any better than 5-5 down the stretch with all the injury issues. 6-9-1 is their ceiling IMO. No playoffs

Rock Ya-Sin is a 4.3 guy. That happens. Just like in college, the throw kept him from a better result. He had to slow up for it. Or else he probably doesnt get caught, in time.

at least 7 wins. Possibly 10.

The kickoff is an absolute waste.  After a score just start every possession on the 25.

4-11-1

notice how Higgins used his hands to catch the ball.  If that's Hightower he let's the ball get in to his body increasing the chance to drop it.  I know comparing Higgins to Hightower is a stretch but after today and his drop, Hightower is developing a serious issue.  Yes, he came back to catch another but it's a bad trend of his right now to let the ball get in to his body.

He ran an official 4.51 at the combine.

I have no feel on this team anymore. Besides the Rams they have been in every game and against some pretty good teams despite everything going against them. As cliche as it sounds, the next two weeks are the real test. 0-2 season is complete done. 2-0 and we probably are looking good for the NFCE. 1-1 and who the hell knows.

My guess: They split with Giants and Cowboys. Beat the WFT in the rematch. Can't see them winning any other games. 4-11-1.

Maybe the Rams are overrated.

4-1 with all 4 wins vs the NFC Least.

It used to be an exciting, meaningful part of the game.  It has been regulated out of relevance now.

This is surprising.  I thought he might have had 2 sacks on the year.  Be nice for BG to finally hit 10.

Higgins was never a consideration at 21. Reagor looked good in the very limited minutes we saw

The real f up was Whiteside over Metcalf. That set this team back significantly and was an extremely obvious mistake at that time.

I didn't like Higgins on paper, watched some of his college work, then begrudgingly admitted that he looked really good.  I still didn't care for his fit here, still don't.  But he has always made plays.  If you are getting caught from behind, you are probably doing something right in the first place.

hmm. interesting. I still thought of him as a freak athlete he was rumored to be. Didnt remember the 40.

Regardless, Higgins is moving on that play. Had to wait for the ball. Story of his life at Clemson too.

Higgins is better than any WR on our roster right now whether he's considered fast or slow.

Nah, the Rams are good.

From Roob’s column after the game. It’s probably getting to that point with Elliott soon.

10. Getting a little concerned with Jake Elliott, who missed a 53-yard field in the Washington game and a 52-yarder at the end of the first half Sunday. You never know how it will all play out, but if he makes that kick, the Eagles just may have won this game. You can’t miss 52-yarders in good conditions. That’s a lay-up these days. Elliott is now 1-for-4 from 50 yards this year and going back to the start of the 2018 season he’s only 5-for-13 from 50 yards and out, which is 39 percent and second-worst in the NFL during that span. The NFL average from 50-yards-plus is 61 percent. Not good enough.

Yikes

we just had a bunch of opportunities last week and Boston Scott couldnt even reach the 20 before running directly in to traffic.

It could potentially be more exciting if we ever had a good kick returner since Allen Rossum and Brian Mitchell.

Why do we openly call Jason Babin a fraud just for having an abrasive personality, being inconsistent versus the run, and having the most consistently excellent season rushing the passer we've seen in 2 decades?  And the Philly media just openly refers to the guy as a fraud.
