I think that’s the product of a bad cap more than anything else

Getting swindled by Peters for the same money it would have taken to bring in Leonard Fournette is a really bad look for all involved

Yep.  In this class,  I'm very happy waiting till round 2.

OL of the future:

LT Mailata

LG Dillard

C Seumalo

RG Brooks

RT Johnson

We’re fine there.  Just need some more depth.

Don't think Dillard is long for the NFL. Have a feeling dude's gonna hang em up by 2022.

It's a weak DE class. I'd go BPA which very well could be a wr

Kadarius Toney is the reason Nasirildeen blew out his knee last year.

Interesting guy, he's like the barry sanders of WRs except he isn't really a WR, not sure I saw him run one route in that highlight.

Hed fit really well in a shanahan offense where the WRs run the ball a lot, I assume doug and Co wouldn't know what to do with him other than line him up to lose 10 yards on some ILL timed badly executed gadget play ☹️

For those who missed the game, here’s that brutal Hightower drop.

Are we even sure Dillard can play left guard? I would actually love to see Juriga or opeta play to see what they can do.

Just have Mailata and Dillard compete in camp for the LT job.  Whoever doesn’t get the job will be the swing tackle.  Dillard will learn to play RT if his career depends on it.  I like Driscoll as a backup G next season.

Interesting hunch based on nothing at all

Need to draft LB, RB, and CB in 2021 for sure.

Some thoughts...

-- Mailata played better in his first 3 starts than Dillard played all last year. It's gotta be Mailata's job. Let's not play pretend in 2021 about Dillard's "great camp" and then we see him get thrown on his ass until he gets benched.

-- Trade Ertz for literally anything. He got absolutely embarrassed today. Imo, worse than the CIN game from years ago when he avoided contact with Burfict. Poor body language, scared of getting hurt (so naturally he winds up getting hurt smh).

-- I'm ready for DeSean to come back. Hightower can take a seat.

-- Alshon should not play a single snap over Fulgham.

-- I don't want to see Boston Scott or Corey Clement get another carry in 2020. For the love of God, address that position. If the Sanders injury is serious, they're screwed.

-- Jamon Brown is one of the worst OL I've ever seen.

I didnt get to see the game today.  How did Mailata play?

Also we cant count on Lane and Brooks to stay healthy.  We've seen Dillard play well at LT but not so much at RT.  Wonder if they could play Dillard at LT and see if Mailata can play RT in case Lane gets hurt.

I’d like to know the breakdown by distance.

In his career this is what his FGM-FGA is:

20-29:  20 for 20

30-39:  26 for 30 (was only 4 for 7 his rookie 2017 SB season, but since has been 22-23)

40-49:  25 for 29 (was 5 for 7 last year)

50+:  10 for 19 (was 5-6 in 2017 and since has been 5 of 13)

I don’t think I’m kidding when I say Jalen Hurts is the Eagles 2nd best RB

I would also add wide receiver, defensive end cause I don’t know what Barnett is still, sweat is good, and graham is gonna be a year older

at least one safety as well .... it’s a long laundry list

OL, too. We need to get younger and more durable on the OL.  Also, Kelce might retire. If Seumalo slides to center, then we will need a guard.  It also remains to be seen how Lane recovers from his ankle injury. Hopefully, that's not an injury that lingers on.

I wouldn’t say based on nothing at all. Dillard said growing up he hated football and wanted to quit multiple times. He said something like "Football chose me over me choosing Football.” He’s got a Danny Watkins vibe to him.

I feel like the only bigger challenge is fixing the Phillies bullpen lol

The Eagles have enough holes on the roster and needs that anything is on the table in the draft. You're just taking the best players you can get right now.

Yeah It was the sheil Kapadia story. His dad also talked about the fact that he doesn’t necessarily love the game of football. And like you said the game chose him, he didn’t choose it. I think he’s a better player than what Danny Watkins was. The upside is there.

Could be worse — you could watch Cody Bellinger strikeout 14 times in the World Series because he can’t touch a curveball or slider that ends up near his back foot, then have to watch the Braves reliever throw him 8 straight fastballs in the 7th inning of a tie game in Game 7 tonight.  Un-frickin-believable.

25 years later and the Braves still suck at playoff time; the Saints of MLB
