RIP running game

guess it's 100% on Wentz' shoulders now

Thankfully we only play two games between today and Nov 15th.

Wentz has a bunch of nobodies on the line.

His weapons are JJAW (LOL), Boston Scott (LOL), Hightower, Fulgham (who?) And Croom (who?)

TATE: Blame Wentz

And yes I know who the players are, I'm making a point.

Ertz expected to miss a month

Ertz has already missed a month.

WOW.  He makes Campbell look small! How is that possible.  Then he throws Clark like a ragdoll.  I'm liking him more and more.

They aren’t season ending injuries so the Eagles are actually quite lucky. No big deal.

Not to slight Tannenhill but having a consistently good running game that keeps the offense on time ahead of the chains and lots of stacked boxes makes qb play a lot easier and tannenhill fits that I like a glove as he a great game manager. He reminds me a lot of Alex Smith , smart, protects the ball, gets rid of it on time and can run when needed.

Nobody wants to play the Titans because you know you're in for a long day against a physical offense and defense. They play old school ball in an era where offenses are playing 4 and 5 WR sets and throwing the ball 50 times a game Titans are just lining up and beating teams up.

Eagles had a semblence of that in 2017, blount ayjayi were big physical backs behind a physical o line and they just wore teams out and it carried them to a super bowl

I could easily see the Titans in the super bowl this year.

I was in your line of thinking until I started really watching the Titans over the last couple weeks (When they’ve actually played). Yes they have Derrick Henry who is a beast. But Ryan Tannehill is playing phenomenal football. Even if he didn’t have the greatest running game,  he’s making plays with his arm and he’s making smart decisions with the football. Before entering the game henry was averaging below 4 yards per carry and hadn’t really hadn’t hit his stride yet. That last two minute drive was a thing of beauty by Ryan Tannehill yesterday. And then overtime leading them down the field taking .

He’s better than what people are giving them credit for even if henry is a beast. And I’ve been one of the biggest Ryan Tannehill is not that good And Derrick Henry is what makes him look much better but he has played phenomenally this year.

Sanders might have played if it wasn't on a short week

Well that kind of feels like it puts the Zach Ertz trade at the deadline to bed. Can’t see any team dealing for him with that injury or if they do won’t get max value for him.

Not sure why the coaches ever considered peters at LT, Mailata is clearly far and away better than Peters and Dillard, he still makes some youthful mistakes but the guy can move and maul and just throw guys around.

Pancaking Calais Campbell  is a big deal, it's not like he just rag dolled joe Ostman this is a multiple all pro and Mailata just sits him down.

Impressive stuff. I don't want to see any one else at LT for the next 10 seasons Mailata has gotten better every game and should only continue getting better

Mad props to Stoutland as well, 3 years ago Mailata couldn't put on pads now he's tossing all pros!

Sanders sidelined 1-2 weeks per Schefter. So that's a month long injury in Eagles-speak.

Ertz will only be healthy after the trade deadline. That is so disappointing.

We also lose Malik who's been playing at a very high level.

We may actually lose to the Giants.

So is Dick Rod starting with Croom backing up followed by Butler?

Should we even start Wentz on Thursday? He took a beating yesterday. He'll take another on in a few days. What a mess this season is.

They'll be lucky to get a 3rd in the offseason for him

Putting on my green shaded glasses...

Going into 2021 with Reagor, Fulgham, Hightower, Ward, JJAW, Watkins, if healthy, would be a decent WR corps.

Sounds about right

If the Eagles reinsert Peters over Mailata, something is really wrong.

Almost guarantee they'll put JP back in there

Ugh...

Fulgham’s name always reminds me of fogell aka Mclovin from the movie Superbad. image.gif.c77eb513793d39e66b93afaa994e4e6e.gif

I think Mailata is probably just one of those guys who will always look bad in practice because he's still working on technique but give him the green light to just hit somebody and he's way better.

Well there goes hopes for a trade this year, on the bright side won't have to watch him walk around the field half assing it and sulking anymore ☹️

It's a deep wr class this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they added one in the first 2 rds. If Chase is there I can't see how you pass on him. It's a strong oline class as well

I don’t know I give Tennessee a ton credit for making Tannehill play as great as he is. I never saw him being a top 10 quarterback. If you look at his stats since he started last year they are as good as Patrick Mahomes (image doesn’t include yesterday’s stats)

Tannehill sucked in Miami. Funny what a change in coaching and perspective can do for you.
