I agree it was more difficult. That doesn’t make it excusable or give him some kind of pass. He should have made the catch.

People set the bar way too low for WRs in here.

It was a catch an NFL receiver is expected to make.

I won’t pretend like I focused on Hargrave, but he was part of a defensive unit that held the Ravens’ RBs to 28 carries for 74 yards. Lamar Jackson was only really effective as a runner, and didn’t seem particularly comfortable in the pocket yesterday. How much did he help with that, I couldn’t say, but I think boxscore scouting isn’t the answer.

Hargrave is not healthy. He is not the same player he was on Pittsburgh.
They've also decided to play him a ton at NT. He did that with the Steelers, but Hargrave is small. If you're going to do that, your need LBs who can fight through traffic. We do not have that.

I still can’t get over how bad Jamon Brown was and how he’s still employed on this team

I mean this play alone should get him cut without mentioning the play that Campbell threw him 7 yards through the air.

Weird throw for Wentz to make, but if he led Hurts up field and away from McPhee that’s a big play.

Maybe the Eagles should avoid players who played well in Pittsburgh's 3-4 scheme with the expectations that they will play just as well or better in the 4-3 here.

That play infuriated me.

What Wentz and Doug did to Ptit and Ravens back to back is nothing short of amazing:

Rugby player - 2nd year UDFA - Kelce - 6th rd backup/waiver wire - 4th rd rookie/repeated waiver wire 2019 UDFA

That's your OL, Mailata is going to be a star, but he's literally learning on the job, Herbig has a future as a backup guard, Pryor is probably gone once we have more depth, Brown should be retired, and while Driscoll and Toth may have a future, doubt it's at OT, especially Driscoll (arms too short).

Fulgham, Hightower, Ward,  JJAW, with Ertz, Rodgers, Croom at TE.

Sanders, Scott, Clement at RB

That's a horrible offensive group talent/experience wise, maybe the worst in the NFL.

Of the legitimate NFL starters, both Sanders and Ertz get hurt, so basically it is Wentz, Kelce and a cast of ???.

Now imagine this team down the stretch:

Mailata - Seumalo - Kelce - Brooks/Peters/Herbig - Johnson (Brooks is looking like he may play this year)

DeSean, Fulgham, Jeffries, Ward, Hightower, Watkins, JJAW

Ertz, Goeddert, Rodgers

Sanders, Scott, Clement

Lol. I feel like he had to have thought the ball was out. No idea why he would do that otherwise.

Unfortunately Doug came up incredibly small at the end, and that diminished a lot of the good he did over the final 2.5 quarters.

You forgot our 1st round pick this year

So watched a bit of the 49ers Rams game, interesting dynamic offenses that use the WRs a lot in the run game. The niners use alot of plays where deebo is the runner with the RB being the lead blocker, where as the Rams will come out in 11 personnel and run it with the RB with a WR coming around in motion on a wham block as the lead blocker.

It works when those WRs are a threat to run the ball on sweeps and such and makes me wonder if pederson had any of these innovative plays for reagor and desean on the field. Though I'm not sure I want to give the ball to desean in his fragile state on a handoff.☹️

One thing we saw yesterday.  The first successful WR screen in how many years?  Didn't go for a huge gain but it's better than the attempts they've been making for no gains.

Yeah, Fulgham has the toughness but not the speed. Ward doesn’t have any toughness or speed as a runner. Hightower would probably drop the ball. DJax would pull a hammy.

Reagor, though? Yeah, that would be fun.

Very normal.

Love it,already watched it earlier like 10 times but could watch it all day. The angle on this vid is a bit different than the previous video👍

Baldinger has a better angle.

I feel we should just do injury updates and returns in this fashion from now on.

I thought we would see Reagor used like this considering we hired Scangarello. I was wrong. I also thought we would play under center more to get the run game going and set up those WR plays like SF and LAR do. I wonder if the OL injuries are the reason we don't run all that stuff.

Yeah they tried a few early with ward and they went no where. Hightower😄 desean☹️ but Reagor yeah he did a bit of it in college and could be a weapon there.

It's really too bad he got hurt he's a dynamic player. I mean it's really too bad the offense other than Wentz and kelce got hurt.

Silver lining fulgham and Mailata never would have emerged.

Eagles might have something when all the dudes come back by that time though will it matter?

Honestly, the most impressive play from that clip was when he pulled and lead Hurts through the hole on that keeper. His quickness to get back and through, and then the footwork to mirror the LB at the second level was amazing for a guy his size. He didn't finish the block with force, but sometimes just getting the other guy to keep shuffling their feet or get him in a back pedal is just as good as a pancake. Awesome stuff from a guy with such little experience.

Yup guys as big as mailata aren't supposed to be able to move like that, dudes a super freak physically.
