Since Peters in his prime. I remember a play against Dallas where JP crushed the DE, came off him to pancake the MLB, and then knocked the safety on his back. Two pancakes after the initial block.

Yup Peters used to be a beast, I'd say pre Peters probably Shawn Andrews. Sad that Andrews mental health led to his downfall as Peters and Andrews on the same OL could have been really scary for a bit

I was joking when I said "Bring Miller back to replace Toohill" 🤦🏻‍♂️

I don't like the move.  I know it's only the PS but if he didn't show you anything last year.  If a 7th rounder this year was better than him then my guess is you know what you have in the player.  Bring in a player you haven't coached.  Bring in a guy you can mold.

Dillard injury might wind up being a blessing in disguise Long term. Ditto for alshon and desean with fulgham

Don't know where the buyers/sellers discussion went here, but would you be upset if they traded for a decent linebacker before the deadline?

Depends on the price and who it is.

Meh who knows maybe after he's cut 5 or 6 times over another season he'll have a Greg ward story.😒

He's easily the 2nd best OL behind Kelce right now.  That's saying something for a guy who was playing his 3rd football game ever compared to the other lineman who have been playing for over a decade, attending top colleges and universities with expert coaching.

I don't want to go overboard on Mailata today but honestly what we are seeing with him is something special.  I would be happy if Dillard was playing as well as he is and he was a 1st round draft pick.

The biggest obstacle right now for Mailata is the Eagles coaching staff and what they decide to do moving forward in regards to JP and Dillard.  Mailata has All-Pro ability and that's not a stretch to say anymore.  If he continues his growth curve the Eagles should make sure he never leaves the lineup.

In Stout we trust.

Really, Herbig wasn't a bum. maybe the left side is set if Kelce retires and Seu moves to center.

I think damn near everyone in the GDT was asking who he was.

I never laughed so hard after not knowing who a player was who caught a TD for us.

It’s ok a couple weeks ago in San Francisco i forgot agholor wasn’t on the team when i saw us throwing to 13. I was like please for the love if god agholor catch the ball. Then remembered he wasn’t on the team.

I was just pleased 13 caught it. I don’t think I knew who Fulgham was either at the time.

Honestly,  With how bad we are this year, the best thing that could happen is all these young guys pay a ton, and improve, so we know who we can have heading into the offseason, with where the cap is at, we need to cut some high salaries and say good bye to some older (oft injured) players The list starts with Alshon, Djax, Peters, maybe toss in Ertz- and Brooks. And god only knows with Lane and Kelce.

So having Herbig, and Mailata step up, with who knows Driscoll/Dillard, can only help us. Throw in Fulgham, but we need Reagor to work out as well,

Yup this.

With Peters Seumalo and Pryor all coming back sometime coaches are going to make some choices.

Seumalo should regain LG when back healthy. Peters could go back to RG but Herbig hasn't played too bad.

Pryor I thought was useless until I saw Jamon Brown play.

If Johnson is in and out of the lineup with driscoll hurt who goes to RT???

Can Peters play RT? Seumalo played RT as a rookie when Johnson was hurt but if he isn't available does Pryor play RT where he's a bigger liability than at RG.

Maybe move Mailata to RT and Peters to LT???

Ideally a line of Mailata Seumalo Kelce Peters or Herbig and Johnson at RT would be good.

Stoutland really needs a raise my brain hurts just thinking about it on TATE can't imagine what he does every day in practice and games.

I wouldnt worry about Peters coming back, at this point he cant stay on the field - so even if he does come back, he wont last a full game.

Yup the announcers had no idea either.

I'm pretty sure Wentz didn't know his name just knew he was open.

Reminds me of chad lewis first touchdown as a rookie UDFA, everybody other than me, a lifetime BYU fan was like who???

Maybe Croom will go on to be the next Chad lewis🙂

Pretty happy with how hard Carson and the team battled yesterday. I need to see a win over the Giants Thursday.

@In2football

Giants 14- Eagles 21

Well this was at least fun to watch.

When Mailata actually learns how to play the position, he might be unstoppable.

I like that extra fire in him, from the fumble... picking up the guy... nah, tossing him aside.

That was the play we were talking about yesterday. I say we because I can’t remember who I talked to about it.

I mean this play alone should get him cut without mentioning the play that Campbell threw him 7 yards through the air.

That play was one of Brown's best.  He took care of his guy.  And nearly killed Mailata with the head butt...

Weird throw for Wentz to make, but if he led Hurts up field and away from McPhee that’s a big play.

I don't think that's the play design though.  I think the design is for the stationary target for Hurts, partly because he's not a receiver.  And, if a LB or DB reads it, you are throwing into potential pick 6 territory by leading Hurts.

By the way, for anyone interested...

Sidney Jones played like garbage yesterday, for those that were furious we moved on from him.

Is Agotrash still playing well in Vegas? That pissed me off more. Not that we got rid of the POS but that he started trying.

For all the media "experts" who said Mailata was a wasted draft pick

That one wasn't. Now the second rounder this year? THAT was a waste lol.

But there isn’t anyone to pick six it. If he sees the open field, he should lead him that way with the throw.

Well, you have to line somebody up there.

Elijah Holyfield, maybe?
