Coverages and schemes do change based on game situation.

Titans have turned around and are one of the best teams right now. Not surprised they aren't going to hurt the new accomplished team

I trust Stoutland as much as any coach we’ve ever had. He clearly saw no reason to put Mailata in over Peters even if Mailata had youth on his side.

A few of us never wanted Peters at LT and wanted to just stick with Mailata

I know, but there was little reason to believe Mailata wouldn’t be a train wreck. That’s my point. Some of you Bloggers ended up being correct, but had literally nothing to base that on other than raw athleticism and hope.

Whoever mentioned about Tannehilll, I was listening to something last week where they said he started learning QB very late and was over drafted by the Dolphins and therefore not ready.  He had that 1 stellar season before getting the knee injury.  So, now he is starting to play to his talent as he has learned the QB game.

Thinking on Mailata, the last 2 games have been against 2 quality DLs and some unique fronts and blitzes.  It says a lot of for Stoutland that he managed to get him as ready as he could, with no real game prep.  He has a long way to go and has to sustain this, but it looks positive.

That was me who mentioned him. He was actually I believe a wide receiver coming into Texas A&M. Mike Sherman was the one who draft him and I believe he was at Texas A&M for a little bit of Ryan Tannehill‘s tenure at Texas A&M. That was one of the major reasons why the dolphins took him was because of Mike Sherman and his relationship with Tannehill. The bigger issue was after Sherman left they hired adam Gase and he is God awful as a head coach and basically ruined everything in Miami to the point where they just had a start completely over and just do a tank job which really was already in place

tannehill had a 45 yard dime yesterday to frisker the tight end. If it was mahomes everyone would be gushing about it today.

:lol:That's all we have anymore it seems

So Ertz will be out until just past the trade deadline. Why am I not surprised.

Bingo, I wasn't paying enough attention to remember the whole story.

I also think we should just slow the hype train down a bit still. The gameplans have protected the OL. Our expectations are just so low right now.

Even so, he’s been much better than expected. He belongs.

I hadn’t seen this Derrick Henry run until today.  This is just filthy; by my calculation he ran 97 yards after taking the handoff in about 12.5 seconds, while breaking tackles:

I'd be hard pressed to name a better RB right now.

Our coverage of the Bills game is comms box muted at present.  I hope it continues that way!

The better Derrick Henry plays the higher Najee Harris draft stock gets.

He also had a great catch in overtime that went for 52 yards. I’m actually surprised they don’t use him more in the pass game. It’s not like he has awful hands and can’t catch. When they have it usually goes for some nice chunks of yards.

All apart of his master plan

Lol Troy said "the depth of this offensive line is being tested"

That was a good laugh

Some correctly guessed De Miller coming back to PS

This really isn’t that hard. Just throw the ball upfield a bit away from McPhee. I think you’re making it out to be more difficult than it is.

I would suggest that one of the three OL out there had peel back responsibility, but rather than taking care of McPhee, started to look downfield.

Yup. Titans got the better end of that trade

I figured that would happen. He's still a project but could pan out as a rotational guy. I'd luke to see Ostman promoted to the active roster

This Josh Allen kid sucks

The Bad News.  We're 1-4-1 with the worst start in years.   The Good News, the NFC East is a mess.  We actually played both the Steelers and Ravens really hard (Both are playoff contenders).  Lastly Doug is 4-0 on Thursday Night Football.   Thursday is a must win.

They need to shop him anyway, some team still might take him

Gerry says Hi

Gerry is terrible but will make ok play every know and then. He certainly doesn't just stand their mid play to adjust his gloves

I still could see the bears doing so even with graham. I also think cardinals, panthers, bills and Seahawks would love to get him
