3/5 of the starting OL were hurt before the season, so I don't think pass blocking has anything to do with it.

How many really quick plays do the Eagles have that they run efficiently with Carson. You know. Quick slant quick out , screen passes; blitz beaters. Lately Carson can't even throw those well. He can throw a decent long ball, but when you take 5 sec to get ready, you're gonna have to.  If you're an opposing DC, how can you refrain from just attacking this oline? You can't. THAT'S why our guys are all injured.

Carson is just not as quick this season. I think he may have brain damage.

So Vander Esch breaks a clavicle week one and he's back already while Reagor breaks a thumb week one and he's still out???

Anything else you want to blame on Wentz? How about covid??

Injuries aren’t nearly comparable. LVE had a bone break and Reagor had a ligament tear. Bones heal faster. And Reagor is a tough kid, so I don’t doubt his willingness to come back.

they also werent injured the same week. and reagor could miss the same amount of time LVE did.

I dont believe dalton ever had so many weapons

Finding a stud C is hard.  Finding swing OG/OT seems easier.  I'd rather not go back down the Hank Fraley, Jamaal Jackson, Nick Cole, Matt McGlynn path.

Jamal Jackson??? besides the Injuries Jamal Jackson was a good center on some good teams, especially for an undrafted guy he had a solid career from 2006-2009 he was pretty good. Injuries caught up to him and mudds zone blocking scheme didn't fit jackson and kelce took over but for those 4 seasons jackson was good.

Fraley wasn't bad he got handled in the super bowl which led to getting replaced by jamal.

Nic Cole was an undrafted backup who only ever played due to injuries. Mcglynn was a drafted player and a disappointment.

Even then it's not like kelce was a high draft pick he was he was drafted in the 6th round.

So I'm not sure the route you'd rather go with center???

First off let me state I love Nick Foles. Loved him at Arizona and still love them. I think he’s a good quarterback in this league if you put a talent around him.

Second and that said The amount of eagles fans on groups on FB who just make up things like Nick Foles is playing great right now is amazing. He’s played Ok not great. In his 3 starts the bears are averaging 18 points per game with a fully healthy offense besides Cohen. In those three starts he has 3 touchdown passes and 3 interceptions. Meanwhile the eagles offense (taking away singleton’s td) is averaging 25 ppg over those three. If we had the bears defense we’d be 3-0 in those contest. They have given up 19,19 and 16

Andy ran 36 times tonight not including Mahomes scrambles to throwing 26. Imagine someone telling you that in 2007.

Frankly CEH looked great today. It’s why i wouldn’t have necessarily brought in leveon. I kind of figured he’d get better as the season went along. Furthermore i don’t think leveon is the same player he was 3 years ago. His last year in Pittsburgh with a great oline and weapons saw him drop from 3 seasons of 4.8 yards per carry average to 4. I do think he could be useful and not nearly as bad as he was with the jets. But i think people are expecting him to be 2016 leveon.

Very unpopular opinion...

Pat Mahomes is slightly overrated

Whatever "it” is. Patrick Mahomes has IT.

Best player in league right now by a large margin IMO.

I'd be hard pressed to name a better RB right now.

He's incredible.  I wonder how long he can keep this up.

I like Carson. I know he's played better. He got married and had a kid, just like Nick Foles. And just like Nick Foles the season prior to his problems had a serious concussion.

I liked Nick Foles, as he dazzled us in 2013. I was upset we traded him in 2015, but I kind of understood after he couldn't distinguish himself from buttfumble the year after suffering a concussion. Foles came back after struggling, but only as a backup. I knew we couldn't keep him and Carson after SB52. I was on board with that. Now Foles is getting it together, and I think Carson is going to do that too. Unfortunately I think it's going to take him a similar amount of time as it took Foles, and we just don't have that time.

All apart of his master plan

If his master plan was to show regression in skill, lack of heart, and from what it looks like.......the inability to create any separation at all anymore, then well done Mr. Ertz.  Well done.

I don’t know when I watched him I felt like he was playing not to get hurt and you could obviously see his contract Issue is bothering him. You can’t do that and play this game. If you do that then you are going to get hurt. And it happened.

Why not? This is an old team that needs rebuilding. I'd just as soon rebuild around Wentz as anyone else.

Griese talking about how Dallas has suffered more up front with injuries than any other team. That's pretty rich.

I think Hurts may be our best option at RB on Thursday.  Go with a two QB backfield.

You can see it with Lamar Jackson & Kyler Murray's speed why we drafted Davion Taylor. If your LBs can't run, you have no chance against modern offenses.

Why can’t we run that simple we shovel pass play

All these great teams come up with clever shovel pass plays, quick flick to motioned receivers near the goalline and it seems like it almost always works. Why can’t our 20 assistants come up with anything like this or even copy one of those teams.
